“6.00 for adults and free ice cream!”
Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

Been through this tour many times as a child but this is the first time I've been as an adult. Admission is 6 dollars and the tour was about 30 minutes long. Very friendly tour guides who are very knowledgeable. Free cup full of ice cream at the end: your choice (and not just a scoop either). Great time and a Texas tradition. Love blue bell ice cream!

“Blue Bell Ice Cream Rocks!”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

We had fun watching the ice cream production and learned a lot. At the end, there is a visit to the big Ice Cream Parlour with flavors to try we had never heard of. You can sample to your heart's content then choose a free scoop. Additional scoops were $1.00 and were huge!

“Fun to see where happiness is made”

A pretty quick tour that didn't cost very much and included a free cup of ice cream. Off season was a nice time to visit.

“Excellent, must see between Houston and Austin”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Overall a very well done presentation of Blue Bell and its history with a behind-the-scenes view of how ice cream is made. Entire family liked the tour which was abely led and narrated. You get a choice of a single free scoop of ice cream with over 30 flavors to choose from. The quality of the building, tour center, layout, gift shop and ice cream parlor were excellent. For a regional family-owned company this is an extremely well thought out and executed family tour opportunity. Highly recommended!

“Short, well-conducted tour...educational, interesting w/ free ice cream!”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Actually, the ice cream is probably part of the very small tour fee but this is a must for kids to see how things are made and sample the final product at the end of the tour! The captioned pictures in the lobby tell the success story of this family operation that started small but became huge due to the quality of their product. The tour guides offer a lot of fascinating information and will answer all your questions. Helps kids learn that groceries don't just 'appear' in the grocery store!
