We took the tour on a previous visit to Brenham so this trip we opted to only visit the Ice Cream Parlour. Ice Cream scoops (very generous scoops) are only $1.25. They have a huge selection to choose from and even will let you take a taste if you have a hard time choosing a flavor.

We visited the Blue Bell facility the week of Thanksgiving. The tour guide was fun and it was very interesting. Our 13 year old was also impressed. The ice cream is fabulous!!

Don't miss the creamery if you are in the Brenham area. With your admission ticket for the tour, you will receive a free ice cream cone. Yum!

This was fun and inexpensive (seniors is just $3 per person) and about a 30 minute tour given by a nice & knowledgeable young lady. We each got a free scoop of any flavor ice cream at the end of the tour, and we 'taste-tested" several other flavors also. Sadly, they don't sell any ice cream on site. We had to go the the grocery store to get some right away before the employees eat it all up! The employees get to eat all the Blue Bell ice cream they want while at work for free (on their breaks)… makes me wish I worked there!

We got there at 3:50and they stay open until 5:00, but said no tours after 3:30. We were eating ice cream and saw the lasts tour come through... about 4:15. They should not post 5 if the tour office is not really"open". There were employees standing around talking. What did they do until 5?? My husband loves BB ice cream and we are never in this area, were really glad we could visit. . Sat hours are even shorter.
