“Great Buffets”
Reviewed January 19, 2014 via mobile

The restaurant is a home cooking cafe. The breakfast and lunch buffets are always great. The bacon wrapped chicken, pot roast or the meat loaf are always great. The items to choose from are all great no matter the meal.

“Great Home Cooking”
Reviewed December 3, 2013 via mobile

This was a very good buffet style lunch consisting of gumbo, fried and baked chicken, meat loaf, vegetables and pumpkin pie for dessert. The cook was from New Orleans.

“Great lunch Stop.”
Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

The food is great whether its breakfast or lunch. The bacon wrapped chicken, homemade meatloaf or the made to order eggs keeps me coming back. Biker friendly always.

“Fresh and varied home made cooking”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This restaurant is not much to look at inside or out but a mother/daughter duo cooks up a daily buffet with favorites like cheese biscuits and chicken fried steak but also selections from their vast collection of cookbooks - especially Paula Dean. The salad bar may have a potato salad with a hint of horseradish in addition to the green selections. And a fruit cobbler will often accompany other dessert offerings. Take the time to get off the main highway for lunch and you'll be glad you did. Mary Clark, Traveler

“Always good food”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

The food is home cooked but not greasy spoon - it's good quality. Buffet style, nice selections. Quaint, casual antique furnishings. Usually crowded and not comfortble...you have to navigate between chairs and tables and diners but nobody seems to mind. Generous servings, all good.
