Description: The Dodging Duck Brewhaus is located in Boerne, Texas, in the Texas Hill Country. We have an eclectic menu of international and local favorites, from Thai Lettuce Wraps to Chimichurri Grilled Beef Tenderloin to Bratwurst & Sauerkraut. Best of all, we brew great beer! We've already won three gold and three silver medals at the World Beer Championships! Enjoy the ambience as well! Sit on our covered deck and watch the ducks play on the century-and-a-half old mill pond of Cibolo Creek, have an intimate dining experience in one of our lakehouse-style dining rooms, or sit at the wraparound bar and talk beer with the brewmaster (or talk Boerne with the locals)!

This restaurant and micro brewery is the best place to meet friends and relax! They have a great selection of beer and wine. They also have great food! Try the pretzel, sausage and cheese plate with an ice cold beer. You will not be disappointed!

nice microbrewery in a small town setting that brews their own beer, patio out front so you can watch the ducks in the creek across the street. Great food & seasonal selections of their own brewed beer. We go at least once a month If you like a small German settled town with friendly service you will love "The Duck".

We were recommended to another Main St. restaurant in Boerne by the hotel concierge. Unfortunately, it was a Monday evening and that place was closed. One of the Main St. merchants recommended the Dodging Duck, however, and we're so glad that he did! Friendly, attentive staff and the food was absolutely delicious! We got the filet medallions that came with wild rice and a plateful of fabulous veggies (asparagus, portabellas, zucchini, red peppers, etc.) along with avocado butter and chimmichurri sauce. Awesome dinner; and our hot pretzel and sausage appetizer was just as good (with raspberry hot mustard sauce and stone ground mustard). Husband had pale ale from microbrewery and gave it high marks. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Boerne, TX area!

Boerne is a bucolic little town in the Texas hill country with a quant German influence. As San Antonio grows Northwest, the drive to Boerne gets closer and closer. If you find yourself there, try the Dodging Duck Brewhaus, right on the river, a few blocks from Main Street. This is a house that has been converted into a combination small beer garden and casual restaurant that serves freshly prepared food and craft beer. The beer garden is in the front of the house, under trellises, with a view of the river. I ordered the philly steak sandwich with an Argentine twist. The bread was so fresh, it was gourmet compared to the traditional philly cheese steak sandwich. The chicken caesar salad was served with warm, hot off the grill chicken, with the right amount of seasoning. Service was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking, both on street and in the back where there is a large paved parking lot. I would defiantly try it again.
