We've stayed here a couple of times both for the same reason, our dog. Without her we would normally stay at the Hampton Inn nearby which has more comfortable rooms. This hotel will charge $50 for your dog's stay but it is welcome. They even have a rest area with poop bags.

The hotel is nice and comfortable but the rooms are a bit cramped and walls fairly thin. We stayed there Memorial Day weekend and it was crowded. The rate was also substantially higher. Some sort of a youth group was staying there and you know what that means, loud noises until late at night.

Internet access was okay considering it's free. At least they don't try to stick you with "up-charge" fees like other hotels or any other surprise fees like The Gaylord Texan does for the use of "free" internet and the gym whether you actually used it or not.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The A/C worked well. There is a typical Continental breakfast included. Staff was very friendly.

Room Tip: Prefer the top floor and away from the elevators otherwise you're likely to hear those around you even more.

Thank you for staying with us. We are pleased to accommodate well mannered pets at our hotel and glad to hear you travelled with yours. I am pleased you found our hotel to be clean, comfortable and the staff to be friendly. At Fairfield everything is included with no hidden fees, including breakfast, however our rates do fluctuate according to demand at any given period. My best advice is to book early especially on holiday weekends as you can always cancel with no charge. We do hope you will stay with us again in the near future.

This is a nice property, with clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. But all was lost when I got to my room and could not get online last night, or this morning. The reason? The hotel was full! The solution? "Sorry, the wireless internet does not work when the hotel is full." This is simply unacceptable. C'Mon!!!! This is 2014! FIX IT! This was a $238 room, on a Memorial Day weekend, with no internet.

Room Tip: Don't stay here on a busy weekend if you need to go online.

Thank you for writing a review with both positive feedback and areas to improve. I can understand your frustration at not being able to access the internet and apologize for not meeting your expectation. Although our hotel meets all current band width requirements we are currently looking to upgrade and enhance our internet service. I hope you have received the Marriott points that we added to your account for the inconveniance you experienced with our internet service. We pride ourselves in trying to make things right and hope you will choose to stay with us in the future

Needed a place to stay while on a trip to West Texas. What a nice find! Hotel appears to be rather new. Everything very clean, good price, good parking and good location. Easy to find on north side of I10 by Valero and Movie Theater. If you want to catch up on a good movie, you can walk to the movie theater. There are several places to eat within 5 miles. Staff were very nice and didn't rush me to check out. It was nice to relax and the high speed internet is really high speed. Would stay again!

I spent four nights there. All was just as expected, the people were friendly and helpful. I was flying at the local airfield, with which they have a deal. The hotel is close enough to the freeway to be easily found, but far enough to be quiet. Breakfast is what one expects in this kind of property.

We decided to spend Spring Break in the hill country, and we were lucky to find this hotel. It was very nice and comfortable. The rooms and facilities were clean, and the staff was friendly. The only complaints I had were that they only leave 3 towels for guests in a double room ( there were 4 of us), and the walls are VERY thin. Nonetheless, I would definitely stay here again.
