“Don't pass it up -drop in!”
Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

You definitely need to try this place. Easy to find in Blanco - call for directions if not sure. And ask about the hours because they are not open every day. I had the blackened fish with red beans and rice. Yummy and it had some 'kick' too! Also had the caprese salad - it had a different twist with the addition of the sun dried tomatoes - yummy. Very nice hostess.

“Definitely eclectic”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

Gave this place a try and found the fare okay. The emphasis seems to be the coffee bar but since we just had lunch and not coffee, could not comment on how good that is. Located in a small old house, with tables situated in several small rooms, service seemed stretched even though it was not crowded when we were there.

“Our Favorite Spot”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

We love this little restaurant. The staff is friendly (including the lovely lady with tatoos!) and the manager will literally bend over backwards to make sure that you have a satisfying experience here no matter how big or small your "party". If you want coffee in the morning, there is no other place: quite the selection in a quiet house atmosphere. The lunch menu is sufficiently varied and specials can often surprise you with their complexity and sophistication. Dinner is limited to weekends and Monday nights but the chef is never limited by his wonderful imagination. Sit inside or on one of the porches. Great place to consider eating in Blanco. We are local so we'll see you there!

“Yummy!”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

A quaint little coffee house/cafe serving excellent and inexpensive lunches! Hubby and I had the "Wednesdays in August" special of 2 for 1 fish tacos served with a wonderful chipolte sauce and great wild rice. Crispy and done to perfection, they were some of the best fish tacos I have had here in Texas! We finished off by sharing a piece of strawberry cheesecake that was rich and creamy. We will certainly be back to check out some of the other interesting looking dishes on their menu and maybe a latte or two!
