An unassuming little place you'll find locals and working folks at. You have a surprising amount of selections from the menu. I found the steak to be very good. Although I did wonder if they had to find the steer and wrestle it down first. The service was extremely slow but the food was served very hot.

Good cajun food for a little town, as a matter of fact this is the best food in town. I ordered the special fried seafood, the catfish, oysters, shrimp, scalop, fries are delicious. Well worth for the price. Will be back.

I dined here on a weeknight with a colleague. This place appeared to cater to oil field workers, linemen and such, with a smattering of locals. It was not fancy at all- in fact, I would call it anti-fancy- very worn tables, chairs, booths and floors, with no real decor to speak of. The service was reasonably friendly and fast. The menu was suprisingly varied, with gumbo, fried rice, lo mein, numerous grilled jand fried seafood entrees, steaks, burgers, and a kids menu. A to-go menu is available. The food, in my opinion, was just average, and not authentic Cajun. However, my colleague enjoyed his steak, and thought it was comparable to other restaurants in the area. The salad bar was limited, but the veggies that were there were fresh. I did not get a chance to meet the owners, as one other reviewer mentioned. I surmise this is a typical restaurant for this part of Texas, and as long as you adjust your expectations accordingly, you will not be too disappointed.
