We waited a few weeks after the opening to give them a chance to work out the bugs. We have heard a lot of good things about their burgers (Dallas Morning News said Bedford has been their best opening) and finally went on a Sat. afternoon. The line was not out the door but it was close to it. A quick note: you can order from the bar as well. From what we can tell it still takes them a while to place an order.
We both we less than impressed with the flavor of the burger. The meat did not seem to have any seasoning and it needed something. I had the Big Tex and it rather bland considering all it had on it. My wife had the one with goat cheese and bacon and said her's was OK but not worth the $8.50 we paid. Fries and onion rings were good and crisp but did not improve the quality of the meal. Two burgers, two sides and two beers - $31 was way too much.
Simply Burgers in Bedford has better flavor at a better price.
