I had the pork rib plate and my husband had the brisket plate and we both had the beans and cole slaw sides. The ribs were tough, the brisket was dry and not tender, the tiny amount of cole slaw they gave us was so watery it left a puddle in the plate and the beans had absolutely no flavor. Instead of corn bread or Texas toast they gave us a side of wheat bread that came right out of the bag from the grocery store and it was still cold from the fridge.
Since we used to live in Texas we know from personal experience that this IS NOT TEXAS BBQ!!! Places like this are bad for a small town like Bandera and they must get away with it just because this is the only bbq restaurant in town...shame on them!
