It looks fabulous from the outside. But don't be fooled! The rooms are disgusting. Our first room must have had a previous smoker who smoked, non-stop, for a month straight! We tried room freshener but it didn't help. How could this property rent such a disgusting room?
The second room (on day 2) didn't smell like smoke, more like a musty moldy smell. The curtains were falling down. The door knob on the door leading into this room was broken...it would spin...all you could do is push the door open after unlocking it. The carpet, like in the first room also, was dirty and stained. The bed covering was stained. The towels may have been clean (I think they smelled clean) but they looked dirty. The mattress box springs looked old and dirty. There was a damp feeling in the room (a few others in our party, who were there said the same thing). Broken lamp and dehumidifier (?) was leaking water. If you closed the bathroom door all the way you needed to make sure that there was someone else in the room to get you out (door stuck badly). Tub would not drain. There was just an overall dirty feeling. Maybe housekeeping needs to be replaced or new supervisors need to be hired. It's a shame too as the other employees were the best! The gal who was our restaurant server, was dynamite.
The location is great....the Inn is not!
