“My new favorite place”

Blackberry Farms lived up to all the hype and more. The food was amazing, the service was stellar, and you couldn't paint a more beautiful setting. My only complaint was the room was incredibly small for the money. However, overall experience was one of the best. I can't wait to go back!

The perfect place to relax or take on most outdoor sports. Their spa is fabulous. One of the best massages I've ever had and the food, out of this world. It's expensive but in my opinion well worth it.

Beautiful property, attentive and friendly staff, incredible farm-to-table food. It's not cheap, but you won't regret the splurge. Go in fall, if you can, to enjoy the crisp air and leaves changing, and if you can force yourself to leave the property--hard to do--drive the few miles to Allen Benton's modest bacon house.

The answer is always yes, that's the motto at Blackberry Farm. The grounds were surreal and breathtaking. The dining room was magnificent and Chef Lenn served the most delicious quail leg. Although the price is steep, we would return again in the future.

Our family made a long weekend at the end of May at Blackberry Farm. The first thing to mention is that it is really shocking that a place like this exists at the edge of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.

Upon arrival the staff took us to our cottages, which were a little dated, but extremely well looked after. The fireplaces were prepped, music was playing, and welcome snacks were waiting. From that point on every staff member knew our name, our favorite drink, and what time we wanted our room made up.

The activities are well run (a bit expensive), and the food is INCREDIBLE.

GO!!

My wife has wanted to visit for years. We went as a surprise for two nights to celebrate 43 years of marriage. You would have to have more money than brains to go twice. Trails not maintained. Main house needs repair. To add insult to your pocketbook, at checkout a 19% gratuity is added to the already over-priced accomodations. For example, a spa manicure was $90. I sent a friendly letter about our experience to the mananger and never had the courtesy of a response. Plus our travel agent was "stiffed" on her commission.
Yes, the food was good. The rooms nice, not great. The staff friendly and helpful. For the money give me a Regent or SevenSeas cruise any day. David McInnis, San Antonio, Texas

Room Tip: Choose one in Paris.

I took my wife to Blackberry Farm as a surprise for her Birthday and she claims it was the best surprise I have come up with in 44 years of marriage. We spent one night and enjoyed every moment of the experience. Yes, the experience is VERY expensive but if you are willing to invest the money - in return you will receive outstanding service, fine food and nice rooms with never ending views of the mountains coupled with about every type of activity you can imagine including a Spa. The list of potential activities is massive and suggest you go to their web site to see all the possibilities. The Resort consists of almost 15,000 acres of mountain and valley property that is removed and private. We did a cooking Class that was just outstanding & very personal with only 3 of us attending. My wife did a tour of the gardens with the Head Gardener that was a great time. We had dinner in the restructured Barn that was both private and offered a wide selection of outstanding food. They have over 100,000 bottles of wine on the property and a full array of other beverages. The next day breakfast was outstanding and we finished our stay with a great lunch served outside on the terrace overlooking the valley & mountains. The location, service, food & experience are well worth the investment. We highly recommend and will return for another special event.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Singing Brook Cottage Suites with woodland views, fireplace and comfortable decor.
