We went to Reggae Beach hoping to catch a boat over to Nevis while we were in St Kitts for the day during our recent cruise. It turned out the boat there had a fishing charter so he couldn't take us over, so we decided to stay at Reggae Beach. The facility is large and offers a variety of seating options- beach chair rentals, tables, bar. You can get food and drink service at any of the above.

We lounged all day, enjoying the delicious rum punch and Ting with a Sting. The food was great, as was the server, Rosanna. The atmosphere was relaxed and when we moved to the bar, the bartender was really interesting, willing to tell us all about St. Kitts. You can get a massage, souvenirs, cuban cigars, crafts, and jewelry from the vendors around. Then when you're ready to head out, it's easy enough to grab a cab.

Took a taxi from the port to the Reggae Beach Bar and it was our favorite destination of the cruise (out of 5 islands). The taxi cost was one of the lowest we had at $27 each way for a family of 4 and around a 20 minute, very scenic drive. The beach is small but nice and feels very secluded. We enjoyed the snorkeling and we saw lots of fish, conch, starfish and shells. The entire place is just so scenic & different with wild monkeys, goats high up on a rocky hillside and beautiful views. Our service was excellent but the food was just okay. We wished we had arranged to spend more time here.

Reggae Beach Bar is a great blend of food, drink and beach. This place has the BEST conch fritters on St. Kitts. Relax on the beach with food and drink brought right to your cabana and chair. Water sports for rent. Not much of a snorkel beach. The restaurant has a good selection of food and their Friday Night Lobster Fest is superb local fare and reservations are definitely required. Eating lobster at a beach bar...nothing better.

Our cruise ship stopped at St. Kitts for the day and we loved the time we spent at Reggae Beach Bar. The drive down is a ways from the port, but it's very scenic and we saw lots of monkeys which was fun. We were there pretty early so had our pick of chairs. We chose 2 chairs and an umbrella right up by the water - it was $15 to rent those. We had excellent drink service to our chairs all morning. Reggae seriously has the best pina coladas I've ever tasted. I loved the nutmeg on top. My husband got an aloe massage. We also rented a kayak for an hour of exploring. I tried a little snorkeling but didn't see much. Others on the beach saw a turtle though.

When it came time for lunch, unfortunately, it was really busy by then and we had trouble finding our waitress who was running a tab for us. We walked to the restaurant but they said we needed to order from our waitress. I think they really needed more servers during their busy time. But we eventually found her and placed our order. The food was good but pricey for what I'd consider typical bar type food, but nothing can beat the atmosphere of eating from your lounge chair on the edge of the beautiful Caribbean.

It is not a fancy place, but it had everything we needed including clean convenient bathrooms. We would go back.

We went as a family to the bar so we could watch the boys Fly board. Flyboarding was AMAZING!!!! Some technical difficulties, but it was their most amazing experience. I looked it up before we went and it looked terrifying, but once I saw it, I wished I had signed up, it was so cool! The bar itself was great. We were assigned a waitress and she took care of us all day. It was fairly expensive, you had to pay to sit on the beach ($5 for chair, $5 for umbrella), pictures with the monkey were $10 and there was no pig or goat. The food was good though!
