We spent the day snorkeling in their beautiful bay. Tons of underwater sea life and conchs! The staff at the grill were so welcoming! Delicious food, especially the conch fritters and homemade Rum. Bought a bottle to bring home. Out of the world beach side massage with pure Aloe straight from the plant! I would go back again and again! Don't miss this gem!

Ate here twice during our recent week long trip to St. Kitts - once for lunch and once for dinner. We had been there once before during our trip to St. Kitts in 2011. Lunch was a fast affair. We were catching a sailboat out of the harbor at 2:00 and didn't arrive until 1:35. Our waitress, Shirley - who is "da bomb" greeted us as we walked in. When we told her we were in a REAL hurry, she showed us the menu and told us could be served quickly - which included the conch chowder; lobster sandwich; chicken fingers and fries; and a few other items. We quickly ordered lunch and drinks. Shirley delivered on her promise - food and drinks came out incredibly quickly. We had lunch; paid our bill and were on the dock at 2:02 p.m. - a feat for anywhere, let alone an island where things normally work on island time. My family really enjoyed the food, so we decided to return for dinner on our last night on St. Kitts, which was a Friday. We arrived early for a swim and so we could watch the sunset. We didn't realize that Friday night was "lobster night" and that reservations are normally required. However, Shirley remembered us and said she would fit us in during the first sitting, so long as we understood that she would have to turn over the table by 7:30 p.m. Fine with us. Lobster night was quite the treat. You pick two or three proteins, which include lobster; fish, (mahi-mahi on the night we were there); shrimp; ribs; and chicken. Sides are served buffet style and include salad; buttered vegetables, rice and beans; plantains; and a pancake of sorts that was the biggest hit at our table. The food was all delicious. The grilled mahi-mahi may have been the best grilled fish I have had anywhere. Not sure what the price was per person, but it was not excessive. The bill for our party of 6, which included 4 people having drinks for a few hours before dinner and during dinner was $250, including tax. Definitely worth a visit - especially on lobster night, although a reservation is probably advisable. Ask for Shirley as your server. She's great and a real asset to this fine place!

We go for the beach and we always end up ordering chicken fingers or conch fritters. I think the atmosphere is better than the actual food but we always have a great time when we go!

While we didn't eat here, I am so glad we ordered drinks. The consensus from our group was this was the best piña colada we have had. They don't use a the normal island oasis mix and they put nutmeg on top. It was perfectly done, and we are from Florida where piña coladas flow like water.

Nice beach scene. Gets very crowded.

We ate at a few of the beach food and drink establishments during our stay and of those, this one offered the best food. Maybe not the best price...but definitely the highest quality food. The drinks were pretty darn good also. We decided to stay and actually enjoy Cockleshell beach itself. My wife rented a jet ski for a half an hour ($50). Much to my disappointment, even after dropping $100 in the restaurant and another $50 on the jet ski, they still wanted $5 from me to rent a lounge chair. I declined and went out to a picnic table on the little pier. The other businesses down the beach make fun of the Reggae shack folks and advertise "beach that you don't have to pay to sit on." If I were Reggae, I would offer the chairs to their paying customers. This might be one of those little things that would keep someone from coming back and them encouraging others not to come at all.
