We got there early in the morning and still had to wait around 30-40 minutes as by 10 am they had already started the trail rides. They were very courteous and the horses looked well cared for. The guide gave us brief instructions before starting on the 3 mile trail ride. Our guide's name was Jerry. During the ride he stopped ahead several times to allow the younger riders to catch up and he would also stop us when critical features of the trail came up, like going uphill or downhill and give us instructions on how to sit in the saddle for that. We crossed the road twice and he provided instructions for that as well. I would go back again and again, as I love horses, but my husband doesn't and not sure if my son JD does, although since this was a good experience and he had a gentle horse, he might. This was the highlight of the trip for me.
