“Nice cozy chocolatier”

Bought some delicious fudge and truffles. Store was conveniently located and not crowded. They also serve an assortment of coffee beverages.

“Sweets and more sweets.”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

Lots and lots of homemade desserts and more. Lots of winter drinks. Very nicy and cozy area by the fireplace to sit and enjoy your dessert and hot drink. Only thing is if you not careful you will drive right by the place. It is right beside the Subway restaurant.

“Nice and tempting selections”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

So many choices, too many calories! It's a bit pricey. The location is next to the Subway and the signage is not to prominent. You can easily miss it.

“A pastry par excellence”
Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

This small coffee and pastry bar in the small town of Townsend is a wonderful place to get a warm drink and sweet treat.

The owners, who also operate a restaurant nearby, make from-scratch pastries and candies to sell. They also offer the usual espresso drinks, hot chocolate, tea, and even beer for those who need something stronger. Pastries tend to have cream cheese icing aplenty, so be warned fellow travelers like me who aren't fond of it.

It is easy to drop in and take a treat to go. If you wish to stay, however, you can enjoy the wonderful log cabin atmosphere. Warm, inviting, comfy, and even featuring a tv for the electronic junkies. I did not check for wi-fi.

The prices are a little high, but the quality of the food is worth it. The service on our first visit was a bit frosty, but the second and third times were as excellent as I'm used to in this town.

This shop is a gem of the Smokies, and anyone who likes coffee shops or bakeries should stop in. I recommend the white chocolate raspberry bars!

“If you need specialied coffee, this is it.”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

Only place in town that I know of to get an expresso and latte. My husand and I got that and price was 7.50 My latte could have been hotter, husband got coffee with a double shot of expresso, his was very hot. If you are really needing to fulfill your craving for coffee this is your place.
