“Great time!”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Selected river rats due to free tubing with paid whitewater rafting through USA Raft! The river was slightly above average when we went. I was nervous after reading some reviews but it was a lot of fun, nothing like tubing I have done before. The people were nice and there were employees at the end of the tubing, but they weren't all that helpful. We did go again later in the week, the river was slightly lower and we got stuck a few times. Kids really loved it though.

We had a group of nine. We had a great time, especially on the tree swing before the bridge. There was one set of rapids that were a little rough on myself and my 5 year old daughter, we both came off our tube and were swifted down the river.

Definitely wear water shoes!!!!!

“Tubing in the Rain”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

We had a group of about 16 that went down the river. They were kind enough to give us a group discount. Recommend that everyone wear water shoes as you will need to be out of the tube often. It started to rain and lighten when we were on the river and there were individuals along the way that offer sheltered to our group. Try to keep your group together, you will have more fun.

“Lots of family fun!”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

The river was average the day we went. He current was a little slow for me, but fun for the kids without being intimidating. Too boring to do more than once or twice. River rat's bathrooms and changing rooms were, by far, the nicest, cleanest bathroom I have ever seen for a tubing company. The mini buses they use are better than some of the gross vans I have used with other companies. But we had to stand in the back with small kids which wasn't ideal. River Rat's tubes were nicer - bigger and sturdier looking than the other companies.

“The tubing is great, the staff - so, so”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

If you just need a tube to get down the river, this is the place is as good as any other. The tubing itself is a lot of fun. The staff however was no help and not particularly friendly.
