“Breakfast & Lunch at Connie's”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Connie makes the biggest and best breakfast you could ask for. Her pancakes are light and delicious. She serves a hobo plate of fried potatoes with onions, bacon, eggs, gravy, peppers, etc. that I always have to ask for a box to carry more than half of it home! If I was smart I would only order the half hobo, but I do like the leftovers! Everything on her menu is so inviting. You will love eating there. She is opened Tuesday thru Sunday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm.

“"Sunny-side up in the Smokies"”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

Connie's is a cozy breakfast/lunch restaurant located in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Breakfast is Egg-tastic you can have them sunny -side up to a burrito, and the homemade biscuits and sausage gravy is one of the locals favorites. Lunch is not bad either fried chicken yum. The staff shows their friendly southern hospitality and a big smile.
The portion sizes are almost super-sized and the prices are not. Being a local restaurant they have a varied menu, but not lacking in style and good food. During peak hours seating can be limited.

“Best kept secret in town!”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

We've lived here a while and hadn't tried this before. There's nothing negative to be said about this restaurant except maybe that they're only open for breakfast and lunch -- not dinner. The portions are HUGE, food delicious, service excellent, prices very reasonable especially for the portions which most often will require take-out boxes. Give this local restaurant a try. We think you'll love it. I know we'll be back often.
