“A Fun Place for Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2012

We are locals, and this is one of our favorite restaurants. The bar-b-que is good, the atmosphere is relaxed, and several days a week they have live music. We usually go on Fridays when Clint and his friends (who are very good musicians, by the way) love to entertain. It's hard to find low-calorie menu items, so if you're on a diet, save all your calories for your meal at Clint's. We have had some hit-or-miss service, but for the most part we love going to Clint's and we love the relaxed, homey feel.

“So Glad we stopped in”

Exellent service from the minute we walked in the door till the time we left! Excellent prices, good eats, very fresh and home cooking for sure. We enjoyed lunch...a special of pulled pork, one side and beverage. Delicious....great sauce. Pork was pulled pork which was smoked. Just delicious.
Great service and kept the refills coming. Hubby loved the potatos and onions... I think he could have ate a plate of them.

“Do yourself a favor and eat here.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012

This place was just awesome from start to finish. It ended up being a bit further from our cabin than we were expecting, but after having our meal, we didn't care. On our first visit, I had the barbecue sampler. Good pork and ribs, and a really good slab of smoked turkey along with some good mashed w/ gravy. The girlfriend had country fried steak, and I think she fell in love. It's the first time I've heard her admit that someone else's CFS is better than hers. This was a no-music night, but the owner, Clint (obviously), was hanging around anyways. He came by our table a couple times just to talk and make sure everything was ok. Couldn't have been friendlier, and the same goes for our waitress. She was sweet as can be and kept our drinks refilled without ever needing to be asked.
On our last night in town, we almost came here again but instead decided to try a place down the road that was rated really highly. We ended up leaving our plates mostly full at this other place, paying the bill, and driving down to Clint's. It kind of stunk having to pay for dinner twice, but we didn't want our last meal in the Smoky Mountains to be a bad one. We should have just gone back to Clint's in the first place. Our second visit there was just as good as our first, but they were jam-packed because of the music. As busy as they were, our waiter was still attentive and the service and food were great. It was a perfect final dinner for our vacation, and we will be looking forward to returning when we get back to the area.

“What all of America should be.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2012

I visited Clints as a tourist from Florida in mid september. Ive worked as a waiter for years and know what makes a restaurant visit memorable. I can honestly say I've never spent a $ AT A RESTAURANT MORE DESERVING OF MY BUSINESS THAN CLINTS. The food was the best i had in all of TN, the service was extremely friendly and helpful. The live music performed by Clint and his band was awesome. But the most memorable part was the owner Clint himself. He came by our table and had a real, genuine conversation. Not only did he make us feel so welcome and comfortable he was wise enough that to young people from Florida need more than GPS to get around TN sometimes. Not only did he give us a free map he personally explained how to get to our destination. I left there feeling like family. Not to mention with boxes full of amazing leftovers. In a country thats changing Clints made me feel so nostalgic. It was truly like the diner we all grew up near in small town America. This is a business with hardworking individuals that earn every dime. Its a business I am honored to support.
