My husband and I went to foxfire mountain for the swinging bridge pass only (called the Discover Foxfire package on their website). With tax for the two of us it was $43 and some change. While we would not normally pay so much for a hike we didn't mind since it had so many unique extras. Before you cross the bridge you have the option to write down a wish to hang on the ceiling of a small shelter on the other side. Once you cross, you can build a cairn (round rocks stacked decoratively) for good luck. There is also a path about half a mile or so to a small but beautiful waterfall. The waterfall has a swinging bridge in front of it great for photos and you can also get close enough to the waterfall to get cooled off. We also enjoyed the BBQ from Ugly Betty the smoker. This was a nice, easy relaxing activity that is great for couples or families. Enjoy!

My family visited Foxfire Mountain 6/14/14. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic canopy tour and can't wait to visit when the new Goliath zip line opens. My son loved the zip lines, rock walls, aerial challenge course, and head rush plunge. My 6 year old daughter loved the small challenge course and the hike to the waterfall. We would recommend this adventure to others and can't wait to return ourselves.

Took the family to this place figuring the bridge would be higher and longer. Took the hike to the falls. Warning take bug spray and hiking shoes. Also make sure you can handle the hike. Otherwise it was a good time it is a very well kept property.

My husband and I went to Foxfire Mountain Friday June 6th, 2014. Foxfire Mountain is a beautiful place with an excellent staff. We purchased tickets for the Bear Crawler tour and at 70.00 each it is a bit pricey and probably more would take part if the pricing was within most budgets. We selected the tour because of the online video. It showed the Bear Crawler speeding through the water and looked like something we would enjoy. Our guide Brandon, clearly has a love for the water and was very thoughtful to make sure his guests enjoyed the tour. He went out of his way to ensure that each person had an awesome experience. Going through the water is the best part of this tour. Our guide last year did not provide the time in the water as Brandon did and we really appreciate the time he took to ensure we had a great time. We would recommend a trip for Foxfire Mountain for all ages.

Not exactly what I expected. There was only one large bridge and a small bridge to cross. The rest was uphill hiking. It was a nice location with beautiful views, we were just expecting more bridges, and not as much hiking. BBQ smelt wonderful, but when we went over there, there was nothing left, only ice cream.
