We stayed here for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. 2 couples. This is a great cabin! 2 bedrooms. Beds are so comfortable. Bathrooms are upgraded with spa tubs, heated tile floors, etc. There are 2 large living rooms, 4 TVs, big screened in porch. Hot tub. The cabin was recently renovated and enlarged. We would definitely return here. It was well worth the money and so comfortable and clean.

I am so glad that you enjoyed the recently updated unit 5221. The owner did an extensive remodel including the observation deck. This new deck offers one of the best unobstructed views of any of our cabins. Thank for your kind comments. We appreciate your business.

We rented Cabin number 4036 Bear Necessities. I love being able to rent a place that allows me to make our own food and help save money while on Vacation. I also love having all the space to spread out that you do not have in a hotel room. Everyone working at the front desk was awesome and helpful. We had a problem with a door not closing and they had someone up to our cabin with in 30 minutes to fix it. Can't ask for more than that. The walking trails and ponds around our cabin were perfect and my son enjoyed being outside and the fun swinging bridge. The pool was great and we had the whole thing to ourselves since it was off season during the week. We also enjoyed having the hot tub and jacuzzi tub right in our cabin. We used the grill one night and it worked great. Being able to sit out on our own porch was a dream come true. I wish I had one of these at home. This cabin is at the end of a street which was nice with a child because he could play without being worried about traffic. My only complaint would be how damp everything is right now from all the rain. It also meant mosquitoes were bad so I highly recommend taking something to keep them away if you are going to be outside any time soon. We ended up picking up a candle and spray from Walmart. My four year old can't wait to go back again. We had a great vacation at a wonderful place.

Room Tip: I highly recommend reading up on the cabin you choose so you get the right one to suit your family...

We stayed in Villa 3340 for a week. The greatest thing about this room was the matresses. They were devine. If I could have taken them home with me I would have! Room was big enough for our 4 adults and 2 children. Only complaints were the master bathroom has no door so beware. It is just a large opening and the toilet is around a corner but now door to close. The TV channels were also always on the blink. Certain channels would be scrambled or hard to watch. Not a bunch of kid friendly channels. We had disney to start but it was awful then somehow it swapped to disneyx which is no cartoons and we had cartoon network which is awful for kids! But other than that it was great. The pool is way small but ok. Beautiful place and close to everything but quiet!

After an extensive search online for lodging for our first trip to the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area, I finally decided on this resort in Sevierville. I must say it was a good choice with one of the most reasonable prices I was able to find. Just be aware that this resort is a virtual suburban community of cabins so if you are looking for total seclusion this is not the resort for you. However the resort is in the mountain and surrounded by trees and greenery. The resort property was absolutely manicured everywhere; hats off to the groundskeepers; great job! There were several small catch and release fishing ponds on the property that my boys enjoyed for their first fishing attempts. There is a small resort pool, small resort children's pool, and resort hot tub at the lodge. Our cabin had a hot tub and pool table and was nicely furnished. Some of the other cabins have their own private pools. The overall location of the resort/cabins is excellent in my opinion; once on the property one would never know he/she was such a short drive to the main drag of Sevierville. The only complaint I have is with a noisy ceiling fan in the bedroom and the housekeepers need to do a better job of clearing the cobwebs; I noted several areas with cobwebs with spiders. Overall we would definitely consider returning to this resort.

We stayed in uncle genes place. It was small but nice peaceful and secluded. It was one of the older cabins but it was off by itself. Clean everything that you would need in the kitchen gas grill and even a small pond. It was a huge surprise since it was only one mile from the parkway. The only downside is the traffic on the parkway is horrible but it was a place I would come back to.

we stayed in 1498. it's listed as a cabin. how all cabins have a great view. our view was of the back of a barn and a residence across the street. the street was quite active. there's only one bath. it was dirty. the grime around the vents, the walls, the base of the shower. the floors actually tilt. every board creaks. there were few mirrors. I had to move a dresser to have an outlet & a mirror to blow dry my hair. the table was fully set for some reason, but it made the table hard to use. the screen on the door was ripped most the way off. water pressure in the shower was weak. the pool was nice on the first day of our visit. a few days later the hot tub was green and smelled. will never stay there again.

The unit you stayed in was actually property number 1948. I have passed your cleaning concerns onto our housekeeping staff, and we appreciate your comments. The unit description on our website is as follows: 1948 | 2 Bedrooms Cottage | #1948 Built in the year 1948, this inviting home is perfect for a small family looking for a Smoky Mountain vacation at a very low price. The cozy floor plan features a full kitchen, living area, 2 bedrooms, a twin bed in a bonus room, a queen sleeper sofa and 1 small bathroom with a shower stall. It also has some DVDs for you to watch, as well as an outdoor charcoal grill, just like those found up in the Park. The Cabins at Hidden Mountain East are in a gated community, which also includes the East pool complex, the Lodge conference center, walking trails, fishing ponds, picnic pavilions, and the Overlook gazebo, with its fantastic views of the Smokies. Less than a mile off the Parkway, just past the Apple Barn, Applewood Restaurant & the Tin Roof Cafe, enjoy easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg & Sevierville, including outlet malls, restaurants, Dollywood, WonderWorks, the Miracle Theater, Titanic, Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show & the Lumberjack Feud to name a few. And don’t forget to make your way to the Great Smoky Mountains to experience God’s creation at its finest!
As listed in the description and photos, this is a cottage not a cabin. This means that it is painted white on the outside. The view that is mentioned is in reference to our Overlook Gazebo. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is our value unit that rents for only $75.00 per night, and is conveniently located just a mile off of the main parkway. Being a historic home, built in 1948, there are few outlets throughout the home. The tables are set in our unit as a welcome to you to make yourselves at home. Guests are welcome to put the dishes away if they so choose. Our pools and hot tub areas are checked and maintained daily to meet required codes. We appreciate your business.

I recently stayed in cabin 4083 - Nature Sings - in the East Hidden Mountain community as part of a group of 17. It was a beautiful, large cabin with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms - each bedroom had a private bathroom, which was very nice. There was an outdoor pool shared with two other cabins and a lovely deck area with two enormous gas grills and several picnic tables.

We had a few snafus upon arrival. The wireless didn't work, a tv in one of the bedrooms didn't work, and the refrigerator and freezer weren't getting cold enough. These issues were all dealt with promptly by management and everything was quickly back in working order.

The living room had only a single couch and two rocking chairs for seating, which seemed a bit sparse for a seven bedroom cabin. However, what was there was nice. The basement recreation area had a bit more seating, but the big screen projection television down there was almost unusable. It was so dark we could barely see the programs/movies. This really needs to be upgraded. The pool table was a big hit with the children and they enjoyed spending time down there despite the TV not being useful.

Each level had a large porch with numerous rocking chairs, swings, and seats. These were nice. The main level porch also had the hot tub, which worked very well. We didn't use it a great deal because it was so hot that we preferred to cool down in the pool, instead. It was fabulous to have the pool right outside the door! The pool itself was clean enough, but the deck could really use a good power washing because the concrete was quite green around it.

My bed slept comfortably - it was neither too hard or soft. Everyone else in our party seemed satisfied with their sleeping accommodations, except for the bottom bunk of the small upstairs bedroom. It was broken and the mattress was actually lying on the floor. We forgot to mention this when we spoke with management early on about the issues we had.

The washer and dryer worked very well and it was nice to have them available.

The stove, microwave and dishwasher all worked well. We had no complaints with them. The refrigerator worked well after maintenance looked at it. The dining table was large with plenty of chairs.

The location of the Hidden Mountain East cabins is fantastic! It seemed so much closer to everything than cabins we've stayed in in the Wears Valley Road (turn right at traffic light #3 in Pigeon Forge) area. Everyone was pleased by the cabin's close proximity to the attractions we wanted to visit.

Overall, I would stay at this cabin again. It wasn't perfect, but it was beautiful, we had plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone in our party, and the rate couldn't be beat! Even though we had some concerns, they were quickly addressed by management and we were certainly satisfied by their customer service. We also appreciated the lack of extra fees.

Thanks, Hidden Mountain, for the wonderful, relaxing mini-vacation! We will be back!
