We've stayed at Hidden Mountain about 15 different times over the last 10 or so years. We've always stayed in the "East" section because of it's close location to the Pigeon Forge 'strip'. We have also stayed in a different cabin each time in order to sample all the little differences from place to place. Most/all cabins are similar in amenities (TV, fireplace, hot tub, etc.) with some having a few 'extras' thrown in (usually in the larger units). As for the past several years, our family has celebrated Thanksgiving in Hidden Mountain. We get 2 or 3 cabins for all the folks in attendance, and cook/serve our meal in the largest unit. This year was another great Thanksgiving at Hidden Mountain. Everything was just as planned and the convenience of having a personal house/kitchen to prepare all the foods was great. The Hidden Mountain 'atmosphere' gives you a family-friendly setting where you can enjoy the mountain accomodations and know that you'll be in a safe, clean, refreshing environment. If you're used to staying at a hotel while in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, why not give Hidden Mountain a try on your next trip. It will be well worth it!

Room Tip: Choose cabins on the "East" side and you'll be nearer to shopping/attractions.

My mother and I shared a cabin with my daughter and her husband for the weekend. The cabin was located at Hidden Mountain Resorts. We rented the cabin on the East side called Breathtaking...#4009. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The best part is the gas fireplace! It was wonderful since the nights were cool. It also had a large deck overlooking the woods. There was a screened-in porch that had a hot tub on it. We didn't use the hot tub, but my daughter and her husband used the jacuzzi in their room. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. There are also 2 porch swings. The cabin is very roomy and perfect for 4 people! My only complaint is that we could hear everything my daughter and her husband said...thin walls, I suppose. I would love to own a cabin in this resort!

Room Tip: You can rent cabins based on the number of people in your party. Some of the cabins are larger than...

We had a wonderful three-night stay midweek in early October in one of the cabins managed by Hidden Mountain. The staff was friendly; both check-in and check-out went very smoothly. This was our second visit to the Hidden Mountain properties, having honeymooned there 15 years ago. The location is convenient to "The Strip" for Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg, yet secluded well that you don't realize how close you are to all the activity if you choose to spend most of your time at the cabin. Our cabin was very well maintained and quite comfortable.

Room Tip: To find the right fit for your needs, search the resort website thoroughly and ask the staff questio...

We had a great stay at the Raccoon Cottage. Beautiful wood floors, nice decor. It was a really comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the fact it had a gas fireplace as well as a hot tub. It was a very roomy little cottage and was super clean. The kitchen had all the essentials. We had 2 TVs complete with DVD players. We thought the location was great. No problems at all. Speedy check in and check out. We will be staying there again.

We received a two night stay at Hidden Mountain Resorts as a gift from our church. We had heard good things about this place but had not stayed there before. It was a wonderful experience. Our cabin was as clean as we keep our home! The check in took just a minute, check out the same. Location was easy to find and everything was as advertised. We had a problem with one of the TVs which was taken care of with a phone call. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. If memory serves me, our cabin was #3322 (The French Quarter) 2 bedrooms; 2 1/2 baths, 2 outside decks, great decor, and fully furnished kitchen. We felt safe and comfortable and certainly had a memorable time.

Note: October is the most beautiful time to visit the Tennessee mountains. The leaves are simply gorgeous this time of year. If you haven't visited the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, you owe it to yourself to plan that trip! Lost of activities for everyone at Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Just returned from a long weekend at Hidden Mountain Resorts Cabin #4084. For the most part we had a great time. The cabin was nice, but dark. Only 40 watt bulbs in the light fixtures. Called maintenance when we first arrived for light bulbs that needed to be replaced because they were out and for missing remotes. They were very prompt and replaced all but the one light bulb in the ceiling fan in the living room. They also replaced all of the remotes that were missing. Toilets had black mold growing under the rim, but the rest of the bathroom appeared to be clean. There was no light where the hot tub was only candles and few of those. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot and powerful. Love the washer and dryer! (No laundry to bring home) Accidentally opened the furnace door and that was not clean or had not been cleaned in some time. It would be nice to have a laminated list of channels in the Living Room. Over all we had a great time with family & friends and would stay there again.

Room Tip: Can't really say whether it is a good value or not. This was our first time to this area and re...
