“Great overnight stay, would be even better for longer stay.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for one night. Dad, 19 year old son and 13 year old daughter. We were just passing through, so we were not able to take full advantage of all the amenities this property had to offer. The living area was spacious. Full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher. Also had a washer/dryer. Small balcony with two chairs. Not much of a view from our room. Two queen size beds and a pull out sofa. The only drawback was just having one bathroom for the three of us. Speaking of the bathroom, it had a Jacuzzi tub that felt great on my pulled hamstring!

My daughter enjoyed the lazy river pool. My son and I played a couple of rounds on the 'mini-golf' course. It should be called a micro-golf course, but we had fun. Best for small kids, probably. We didn't use the water slides, hot tub, indoor pools, fitness room or game room, but we were very impressed by all of the options we had. If we come back for more than a few days, we will stay here again, although we would get a two bedroom unit to have the extra bathroom.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and in good condition. I definitely recommend it for families with young children.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our property. Even though your stay was a short one, it is great to know that it was a remarkable one. It is wonderful to hear that you found all that our condos include; like the fully equipped kitchen, the washer/dryer, and the relaxing jetted tube. We are glad that your children had a great time with the assortment of amenities our resort had to offer. We do hope your next visit gives you time to take full advantage of all we have to offer. We look forward to seeing you again very soon!

Our condo was very clean, well furnished, and spacious. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We arrived before check in time and the executive housekeeper, Gene, made sure our room was ready quickly. There is an outdoor and indoor pool, a mini golf course, and a fitness center. We will definitely be staying here again.

I felt condo was adequate and clean- nothing fancy but everything you needed. Good value. LOVED all the pools. Great entertainment for your down time and lots of room even on the weekend when it was too cold for outside pools. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Friendly staff. Recommend to families especially. Will stay there again. The VIP program was a nice touch. Check it out before you buy your attraction tickets.

Room Tip: Got a discount with name your own price option. See their website for info.

My Husband and I took our kids this weekend to the Resort at Governor's Crossing, The reason why I pick this place is because we have a fairly large family (6) total. And we needed the space and to be able to cook etc. Upon check-in, there was no wait! The ladies was nice and I ask for a top floor but everything was full so I ended on the 4th floor which was fine. The view was of a Big Blue Building and it was actually the indoor pool area. I had a small view of the outdoor pool area. The room was the 2 bedroom 1 king/2 doubles condo, the room smell like fresh paint. Everything was cleaned and I was shock because my kids loved it. We went to the indoor pool around 8pm it wasn't crowed, my older kids enjoy the 2 slides & my little ones loved the kiddie pool area. We used the kitchen to cook dinner & breakfast which was a plus in my book, saving us money on dining out. The cost of the room was Great! and We will most definitely be back. Overall our stay was Great!!!

Less of a hotel more like an apartment complex with pools added. When we first got there we waited and waited on the elevator. I had to walk to the 4th floor to learn it was being pained. Wow. He asked us to use elevator and had to tell him we were loaded on the cart already. After some time he sent it down. Well or room was by the elevator so the smell of paint and thinner was everywhere. We layer went or and he was still painting so we had to cross the building to get down. Got back and the room was hot and air was not working. There were parts of the base boards peeling of and a large stain on the ceiling. I had to ask for a room change and we got settled around midnight. Pools were OK but the indoor slides are rough. The seams left marks on our backs and one slide was down most of our stay. Poll attendants mostly played an their I pad but luckily I watch my own kids. Did have fun seeing the same dory band aids on the slide steps day after day. Overall was OK for the deal price we got but would not pay much more. The Devil is in the details and there were many little details missing.

My wife and I took a short trip to the Smokies to make yet another memory while we still can. She has brain cancer. We chose the Resort because of location and proximity to shows, restaurants, and shopping. The fact that the room had a balcony didn't hurt either. We have been to Sevierville on other occasions and knew that the sunrises and sunsets in the mountians are worth being awake for. The first morning my wife was up early and found the view for a sunrise was obstructed by trees. Since one of the very reasons for going was to experiance these spectacular creations of God, my wife gently made her feelings known to the staff at the front desk. The four of them listened to her:Sally, Kathy O, Kim, and Kathy B.
After searching thier computer for rooms available for a few minutes and several taps on the keyboard, they handed her the keycard to a room on yet a higher floor on the opposite side of the building, where the views of both the sunrise AND sunset could be observed as if in a front row seat. All this was done with a friendly spirit and without knowledge of my wifes condition. These gals are the very reason we'll return to the Resort for another stay, if time permits. Thank you Sally,Kim, Kathy O, and Kathy B.

Room Tip: Ask ahead for a room with a view of either the sunrise or sunset.

Green Features: The Resort believes in "going green". We especially liked the recycled tire mulch.
