We booked a two bedroom unit with kitchen on a Sunday through Wednesday, for a spring break trip with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren, total of 6. Check-in was quick and easy, all the clerks were very nice. Unit was well equipped with everything we needed. The resort was conveniently located to everything and with the bypass close by, we were able to miss most of the traffic. The children's favorite part was the indoor water park, especially the water slides. The pool and lazy river outside looked good too but it was too cool to use them. There was also a nice outdoor play area that looked like a pirate ship that the kids enjoyed playing on. The resort was very family friendly and I would recommend this for couples or families.

Room Tip: Our 2 bedroom had a king bed in 1 room, 2 double beds in the other room and the couch was also a sle...

Thank you for your review on our property. Our two bedroom units are perfect for families with children because they offer plenty of room for the whole family. Our indoor water park is always a big hit with children and adults alike. The pirate ship is one of our newer additions and is lots of fun for our younger guests. You should come stay again when the weather is a little warmer and enjoy the lazy river and our new putt putt golf course. We hope to see you again soon here at The Resort at Governors Crossing.

We stayed here while attending a sporting event. The room was very nice and spacious. We booked a two bedroom unit with full kitchen, eating area and living space. There were 4 of us staying in the unit, and we had plenty of room. The furnishings were up to date and everything was clean. They do need to clean out the hanging light fixture over the eating table, because you could see quite a few dead bugs in there. The towels provided in each bathroom were quite small and scratchy (something you would find in budget lodgings). We did not have a great view-the back woods, but during summer or fall, it would look much better. It was very accessible to restaurants, shopping and the convention center.
The indoor pool area was great for the kids, with two large slides, pool, water area for toddlers and a large hot tub.
The one issue-there were several small flat flying bugs around-one in the elevator, several in our room. Do not know what they were or where they came from.
Other than that, it was a pleasant stay-but their towels could use an upgrade-for the price you pay for the rooms.

Thank you for reviewing our property. Our two bedroom units are very popular with our guests that have children because they offer ample room for play as well as relaxation. Our central location is wonderful to be close to the mountains and the local shops and restaurants; however our close proximity to the mountains also makes it much easier for nature’s pesky bugs to want to visit inside our rooms as well. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the indoor pool so much and we will look into the issue that you experienced with the quality of the towels. We hope to see you again very soon here at The Resort at Governors Crossing.

My husband and I, along with our 4 children aged 8-12, stayed here for 3 nights in December 2012. The rates were very reasonable. The room was very spaciousand clean- full kitchen, large bath, living room with gas fireplace and sleeper sofa, balcony, and a large bedroom with 2 beds. The indoor hot tub was very nice and the pool was, too. The kids LOVED the water slides and coud have stayed in there forever. there was a pool attendant there the whole time monitoring the slides. I would love to go again in the summer and use the outside pools! Location was great- you could take a back road to the other end of town and totally avoid all Parkway traffic. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for your kind review of our property. I am very glad that we were able to provide your family with a clean spacious room at a reasonable price. Our number one goal is 100% guest satisfaction and it looks like we met our mark during your visit. The indoor water park is always a big hit with children of all ages, especially during the colder months of the year. You should come back and stay with us again at The Resort at Governors Crossing during the warmer months and relax in our Lazy River while the kids try their luck at our Lumberjack Log Roll. We look forward to your next visit!

My friends and I reserved one of the penthouse suites for a weekend getaway and were very pleased with everything about the resort. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The suite was well- appointed and in a great location. Check-in was efficient and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful views of Pigeon Forge from the balcony!

We decided to try this hotel due to the indoor pool facilities available to our small children.
We were completely satisfied with EVERYTHING about this place!
The room was immaculate upon arrival. The layout of the rooms are great with the bedroom separate from the living/dining area. The kitchen was well supplied with all utensils necessary to cook a meal.
And the washer/dryer in the room is something I have been told will be required at any hotel we stay at in the future!
The front desk was very helpful and the maid staff was excellent and very helpful and friendly!
The pool area was very clean and maintained by an attendant at all times we were there during our 3 night stay.
We can't wait to return in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor pool and play area!
One of the best experiences that I have had at a hotel!

Thank you for your kind review of our property. One of the many reasons guests choose us again and again are the full kitchens that we offer in every room. It is great to be able to save money by eating in for a few of your meals during your vacation. The water park is always a big hit with the kids. Be sure to come back this summer so that you children can try their luck on our Lumberjack Log Roll at our outdoor pool. Once again we stayed at the Resort. But we had a slight issue this time. We checked in the kids were all excited and we opened our door to our room and it was already occupied. I was a little freaked out. I told the kids to back up and leave the room. I mean you never know we could have been shot or seen something that we shouldn't have. But there was no harm done and we were placed into another room. Besides that we had a great stay and the hotel is awesome. We will stay there again.

Our family took a last minute trip and decided to stay at the Resort at Governor's Crossing. We had a great time there. We really enjoyed the spacious rooms and nice indoor water park area. We stayed in the two bedroom condo and was surprised to find that both bathrooms had jet bath tubs and had lots of room. The only down side to the hotel was the lack of food located at the hotel. Several other hotels we stayed at that was the same caliber had food located in the building to purchase which made it easier with four children to find snacks.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. Our two bedroom units are very popular for families visiting the area. The jetted tubs in the bathrooms are great for relaxing after a fun filled day in the Smoky Mountains. We do not have an onsite restaurant, but we do have multiple snack machines in each building, as well as several restaurants within walking distance of our property. We look forward to your next stay with us here at The Resort at Governors Crossing.
