Great time horseback riding and zip lines. A must do while in the smokies. Sean, Susan, Adam and Lisa were all great helping the lil ones and adults alike.

The horseback ride was very slow. There is no education, such as how to "saddle up" or any general horseback know how. To get on the horse they make you step on a platform, the horse comes to you and you just sit down on the horse. The only thing you get to do on the entire ride is to occasional steer the horse (if it strays). It is very slow-paced. There is no gallop or trot....just walking...very slowly. There is very little scenery.

Zip line was a lot of fun, but was pretty basic. The guides were very friendly. Our guides were Adam and Shawn. The zip lines and the harnesses were very well kept, everything was very nice. It really is a neat experience, but we could have done much better as far as value to the experience we got.

Also, the guides smoke on the tour, which we did not appreciate.

In all, everything was very chaotic. The horseback guide was also our zip line guide, and Adam had to help the horseback team get their group ready, while we stood there waiting to zip line. We waited probably 20 minutes, then they announced another large group was joining us. So then we had to wait for them to get suited up, which was another 10 minutes. It was unorganized and you get the impression they don't do it very often, but you know they do.

We really did have a good time, but we probably won't be back. Everything was perfect for a beginner, but for the more adventurous I would not recommend this.

We found a groupon for a discount zip line tour At Jayell Ranch. As first time zip liners this seemed like a deal. Adam and Chris did an amazing job! They made sure to keep us informed throughout the entire course. Safety was a huge priority to them, and they constantly reminded us to take our time and work at our own pace. They made us feel very comfortable, and more importantly they made us laugh and have fun. We will forever return to Jayell ranch whenever we are in the area! Thank you, Chris and Adam!

My husband and I visited TN for a quick weekend trip and visited Jayell Ranch. We did the horseback tour as well as the full zip line course. With so many choices for each in this area, we were so glad we chose Jayell Ranch!! The tours were great and the staff couldn't have been friendlier! Best trip ever! We will definitely be back!
