“Iconic and Classic Statue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013

The Dolly Parton Statue right in the heart of Old "Historic" downtown Sevierville is beautifully done and perfectly placed. The statue provides a glimpse of the Dolly that grew up in Sevier County - a girl and her music. It honors her past and the place she was raised, rather than glorifying her fame.

“What a lovely little statue!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2013

It stands beside the bodacious city hall, and balances the veteran's eagle on the other side of the lawn. Fun to visit. Note the date: it was installed in 1967, just three years after she went to Nashville and began her career.

“Gotta love Dolly!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013

I love the story Dolly tells about her dad and this statue. She tells the story about how her dad used to go with a bucket of soapy water and clean the bird poop off her statue. To listen to her tell the story brings tears to your eyes. Knowing that story makes the statue come to life! I think it is worth the visit to see it.

“Great 1st stop in the Smokies!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2013

This is a great statue of the one and only Queen of Country, Dolly Parton! It's a great first stop on your way into Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains. It may not be much, but it's fun to have your picture taken with it and see Sevier County's grand courthouse...it is by far the most beautiful courthouse I have ever seen, due in part to its huge clock tower. Not to be missed!

“It's a Statue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013

This statue is right outside of the Sevier County Courthouse, of Dolly sitting on a rock playing a guitar. She is Sevier County's only celebrity, so make sure you stop by to say hello!
