About 10-15 minutes from Downton Gatlinburg, depending on traffic, this gorgeous home sits on the mountainside down the steepest driveway I've ever seen! The property has nice landscaping, a fabulous gas fire pit, hot tub and extra large rooms. All bedrooms are large and some even have two roll away beds tucked away in closets. Bathrooms are luxurious and towels are furnished, as are linens. I would recommend taking spatulas, ladels, or specialty cooking gadgets if you plan to prepare any special dishes as theses things are definitely lacking. There is a coffee pot, but is not a Keuring. While we were there the gas (propane?) tank ran out, which I found to be nearly inexcusable. However, the property managers got right on the situation and got the tank filled about 5-6 hours later...which I believe was as soon as they could get someone there on a Saturday. But after ten of us hiked Mt. LeConte, stayed the night and hiked back down, we were really looking forward to hot showers and fresh laundry- none of which happened that day. Also, we followed the directions on the BluRay player in the media room, but could not get our movies to play...a major disappointment. They do have selection of board games and the furniture is top notch and very comfortable.
