“Caring, quiet, and very re-energizing!”

This a very simple but beautiful location, it is just tucked away from all the noise and chaos that is Gatlinburg. We had a wonderful view out our window of the mountains along with a nice comfortable bed to sleep on. The staff were all extremely nice and considerate. It just felt nice to be in a Christian bed and breakfast with such considerate people. The whole trip was very wonderful and peaceful. Just what I needed, the perfect R&R at a wonderful B&B .

We booked using a groupon for a weekend stay in a room in the main house. When we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded to a cottage for no extra charge in order to accommodate a large group in the main house. From the outside the cottages looked in need of a little work, but on the inside, everything was great - comfortable furnishings, large jacuzzi tub, kitchen, TV, and wifi.
We were made to feel very welcome from the start - we had read reviews about this being a Christian oriented B&B, and were a little concerned as we are not particularly religious - however, while there were certainly aspects of that in the decor and bibles on display, it wasn't pushed on us at all and had no real bearing on our stay. There were always coffee and drinks available in the main house, and dessert and cookies every evening, which were outstanding! The first morning we had breakfast delivered to our cottage (no extra charge), and it was excellent - fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, and stuffed french toast. The next morning we ate in the main dining room, and it was just as good. Honestly, I cannot think of a single thing they could have improved upon - we will most definitely be back again.

We had heard of the Blue Mountain Mist many times and were looking forward to our stay there. We could not have been more pleased. The staff was very informative as far as nearby attractions and their recommendations were spot on. The late afternoon coffee, tea, and desserts were incredible. Every dessert and breakfast is completely homemade. One of the mornings there I watched the owner make pumpkin stuffed french toast. You won't see that at Holiday Inn Express. The breakfasts are served family style in the large dining room and as with any bed and breakfast, the conversations vary. While there are a few areas of the property that are showing their age, the staff is always stepping in to make updates and upgrades as needed. Wish we could have stayed longer but we know we will go back.

Room Tip: Since this is a bed and breakfast, I would recommend checking out different rooms each time you stay...

We arrived at the B&B and was greeted by the owner as walking in and along with the smell of something baking in the oven. Mr. Ball was so sweet and made us feel at home right away. All the staff was so helpful and made us feel like they new us for years. We traveled from Kentucky that day and had a picnic lunch ( which we packed ) on the grounds on the picnic tables and the grounds were so peaceful and blooming with flowers, butterflys and flowering smells. I can not express how beautiful our room was ! It was so clean and homey I did not want to leave. Later that evening we enjoyed fresh brewed coffee and homemade hummingbird cake by the fireplace. It was the best I have ever tasted.
We ate breakfast at 9 am in the morning which is the best I have tasted in a long time. The eggs were so fluffy I was amazed at how big they were. The bacon was out of this world. Not salty at all and cooked just right.
My trip was a girl trip but for sure one day I will be taking my hubby and possibly stay longer than the one night we did.

Room Tip: The Elkmont is a blue room with a huge bed, very clean and bright ! Nice area of the house.. Quiet w...

We honestly are very impressed by the level of service that was given to us. We enjoyed every moment of the stay. After we left we just wanted to go back and stay there forever! We are so grateful of them, from the breakfast to the care and love that was shown to us was more than what we were expecting. It was a surprise for my wife and she was so happy! We stayed in April and the weather was amazing! I highly recommend them. FYI, if you are planning to get a massage, please setup an appointment ahead of time.

Our stay was a first in a B&B and a gift from our daughter and son-in-law. We stayed in the Cades Cove room which was a corner room decorated in the Civil War period with a private bath and windows that brightened the room. We were kept company by a momma bird and her two babies in a nest right outside our window. The location was in a quiet and beautiful, rolling mountiain area. Coffee ready at 6am and a bountiful breakfast at 9am got our day started off right. The evening sweets were delicious and the sweet tea was wonderful. The staff encouraged us to make ourselves at home and were very nice. Even though the house was filled with guests it was very quiet and peaceful. The gathering room was a little too "country eclectic" for our tastes but it had no bearing on our comfort in the house. I would definitely recommed Blue Mountain Mist to anyone wanting some peaceful time away from home.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are sunny and quiet. AC unit in each bedroom.

First time for my wife and I and next time we are in the area we will think of Blue Mist. The staff was great! The food was the best! You will find a quiet warm setting right next door to all of Pigeon Forge busy activities. Check it out I believe You will be glad you did....
