“Great people”

We took our 4 year little boy and he loved it. It was close to closing time, but the folks there didn't mind one bit and had a pony ready for my son to ride very quickly. He loved it. I would highly recommend this as a quiet, relaxing stop for anyone who wants to get off of the main drag strip in Pigeon Forge.

“One GREAT Hour!!”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

The people here are friendly and the horses are very gentle. The cost was the best we could find in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Don't forget to use coupons found in area booklets. We had a great time, took our daughter and two grandkids and they had a blast! highly reccomend it to people of all ages.

“Great for small kids”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

When we arrived, the electricity was out due to a big storm the previous day. As all activities are outdoors this didn't prevent us from being able to visit. The lady who owned the place was super nice and still had a great attitude although she was working in heat and darkness! The kids absolutely loved the visit. They were able to feed and pet the animals. We also did the pony ride which was great!
The grounds are not as manicured and the grass around the building was a bit high. When we first drove up, we would have though it was abandoned if not for the cars in the parking lot. However, this minor distraction did not prevent us from having an awesome visit here. Definitely worth visiting once.

“An Adventure”
Reviewed July 5, 2012

It's off the beaten path but signs will point you there. Not a large zoo but the experience of feeing camels, zebras and goats was enough to make the kids smile. The pony rides are nice too.

“Fantastic Family Vacation Attraction”
Reviewed June 29, 2012

We've gone to Gatlinburg every year for about six years, and always visit here. Children and adults have the opportunity to interact with all kinds of animals. Our children always love holding the adorable baby goats. I love petting the zonkey and zebra. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and really do care about their animals. We've visited many zoos, large and small, but I think this is our favorite. There's no time limit, so you can tailor your visit to your family's needs.
When our girls were much younger they rode the ponies, but quickly graduated to the horses. The horses are very well cared for and easy to ride. Again, great staff, from the guides to Mr. Tim, who assigns horses to guests based on individual riders. Even first-time riders can enjoy a gentle, comfortable horse like Lulu. Children can ride smaller and reliable horses. The trails themselves are well maintained and cool even when the weather report calls for 90-100 degree temperatures-very relaxing. The stable area is very well kept and as clean and safe as it could be. Little girls would love a T-shirt with the names of their favorite horses...
We LOVE this place! Deer Farm/Stables appeals to all ages, and as our children get older, still has great appeal. I can't imagine a trip to this area without a visit to the Deer Farm/Petting Zoo and several trail rides.
