“WOW Do not waste your time or money!”
Reviewed December 2, 2013 via mobile

This is a huge waste. We have four children. Our youngest is three and couldn't ride anything except the few kiddie rides they had yet we were charged full price for her to get in. Our other children 11,10,and 9 was not allowed to ride much. They finally found go carts they could ride and the cars were stopped after one lap. The staff running the rides were very rude to us and our kids. We will never go back here. We were hoping to have a good time since this is what our son had picked to do for his birthday.

“Not worth it...”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

The $20 all you can ride deal isn't so great after you learn anyone who just wants to watch has to pay $8 for that privilege. And hopefully you'll get a cashier that tells you rides are down before you pay (one did after I asked, the other must have forgot - and there was no signage mentioning that).

This isn't Dollywood. It's not good enough to charge people just to watch. We left and went down the road to a better deal with better attractions that actually ran. And unlike Nascar SpeedPark, the other place let the Grandparents watch for free.

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate your business and are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your most recent visit to our park. We’re always looking for ways to add value to your park visit. We implemented general admission pricing to give all guests unlimited access to Go-Karts, Bumper Boats, Mini-Golf, Family & Thrill Rides, indoor kiddie playground and rock climbing wall. The general admission pricing of $19.99 offers over $17 in savings, compared to the Unlimited Ride Wristband pricing of previous years ($36.99) - with the new general admission pricing you and your child may leave with a new favorite ride!
We take your feedback and concerns seriously, and use them as an opportunity to improve upon our goal of providing a great experience for you and all our guests, if you can, please email us at sptn-info@nascarspeedpark.com so we can address your concerns further. Thank you!

“Really!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

There were a total of 8 adults and 3 kids in our party. The sign outside reads 19.99 all u can ride pass.. we all thought what a great deal. We walk in to find out that if you are not riding the Go Karts. You have to pay 7 dollars (for Mini Golf) or 8 dollars just to watch the others in your party to ride Go Karts?? I had my Parents (in there 60's) with me and they just wanted to watch their Grand Kids and my brother had to watch his 18 moth old daughter. So we turned around and they lost out on 120 bucks. What sense does it make to offer family fun and charge people to just watch?? Poor Business decision.

Hello and thank you for providing feedback regarding your recent visit to NASCAR SpeedPark. We're sorry you found the admission price of $19.99 to be pricey for your family. Our admission covers all day, unlimited access to 25 family attractions including 8 go-kart tracks, a rock climbing wall, 11 family and thrill rides, 2 mini golf courses and more. Very similar to other market attractions like Wonderworks and Dollywood, we charge admission for all guests entering the park. We understand that you would prefer to watch your family ride, and part of our goal in lowering the price to $19.99 for all guests was to ensure that every member of the family came into the park with the ability to participate in the family-fun activities in the park, to create treasured memories together. Again, we're sorry you were unhappy with the pricing and hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your visit to the Smokies! Thank you again for your review.

“Despite the negative reviews, we had a blast!”
Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

I feel bad that there are so any negative reviews about this place. I was a little hesitant at first, but we took the risk, and oh what a reward. I felt good upon entering hearing positive, Christian music over the loudspeakers. Because of the time of year and it was a Saturday, just about every ride was working but the lines were relatively short, the tracks were decent, a lot of things for the kids to do, and grown ups had fun too. The crew was ok (mostly teenagers acting like teenagers) but they added a little amusement to the attraction. $100 for a family of five, all day entertainment.... Can't be beat.

“We had a blast and plan on returning”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

We decided to try this place because my daughter wanted to do go-karts and putt putt while on her birthday trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. We paid right at $20 each for the day pass which allowed us unlimited everything. We could come and go through out the day if we wished. Our 7 and 9 year old were able to drive several of the cars on their own. There are SEVERAL tracks that accomodate very young all the way to the "top" track which requires a helmet and drivers license! I would agree that the ride area needs more staff. A couple of the rides were not operating when we visited, so that was disappointing. The golf was not impressive, but the kids enjoyed one game. I was impressed at the amount of time you were able to drive. It seemed like we were waiting in line a while...even though it was a short line. However, it's tough to complain about that when you are getting a lot of time to drive! We will definitely be back and will probably double check the website for prices on the year pass. Looks like a good deal if you visit the area often.

Hello and thanks for providing a review of your visit to NASCAR SpeedPark Smoky Mountains! With 8 go-kart tracks, it's a great option for kids of almost any age, and gets them behind the wheel of their very own karts! We're glad your children were able to bring back some great memories, and please do consider a season pass when you return next year, great idea! They include perks like discounted food and merchandise on every visit, and even discounts on bring-a-friend admission. Can't beat the value! Thanks again for the feedback and we look forward to seeing you soon!
