We have 7,5&2 year olds. Kids liked the water park, but price to value is horrible. Park is small and today it was quite crowded. The only thing worth mentioning are the tube slides. Lines moved pretty quickly. We are staying in the hotel that is not attached to the water park so we have to take a shuttle, not a big deal, runs every 10 minutes. Glad I chose this option because the cheapest room at the other hotel was even more expensive. Breakfast is not included in the room price. Overall would not recommend this place and definitely will not be coming back here.

The hotel is nice and clean. The value isn't great. The indoor pool area is nice, but the water could be warmer for sure. I don't think the value is great for what you get in the winter though. I'm looking forward to heading into the mountains tomorrow.

This was our 2nd stay at Wilderness Resort in 2 months. Check in was smooth; however, once again we were directed to separate counter to pick up room key- the desk clerk offered time share info/speech!
Lobby was decorated for Christmas and the staircase was beautiful. Our room had a kitchenette with adjoining room with bunks for teens.Too firm Murphy bed for adults,Nice stacked stone firepalce with bay window overlooking pool and distant mountain view.
Water park was fabulous and warm air temp- water a little chilly-kids loved it. Lots of water activities for all ages.
Thirsty Miner restaurant overlooks the park- sit near the window. Seafood dinner buffet was huge, breakfast buffet was great with waffles, even cheese blintzes.
Cons- rooms need insulation/soundproofing- very noisy. We took earplugs!
Overall, fun place to visit

We decided to spend the nights before and of Thanksgiving here with extended family. We had 8 adults and 2 kids in 3 adjoining rooms for one of the suites. The main room had a full kitchen that was well stocked. We planned this trip knowing that we were there for the fun of the indoor water park and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We brought rental movies and had a great time! Any longer might have been a bit much but we are so glad that we stayed for 2 nights. Our family ages ranged from 86 to 10 years old and everyone enjoyed it!

The housekeeping and front desk employees were friendly. The indoor water park was above average, construction of the facilities from the tiled floors to the kitchen cabinets, appliances and silverware was top of the line (the kitchen was a little cramped which made getting cold drinks cumbersome). However, if they would have spent more on soundproofing the guest quarters it would have been a wise investment. Our first night there it sounded as though someone was having a party in the room above that lasted until after 2:00 a.m. At any time people talking in the hallway could be heard as though they were directly in the room with you. There was a mouse in the indoor water park. When I mentioned it to one of the employees they laughed and said that it had been there for over a year and the workers had even named it. I realize the lodge cannot be completely responsible for tenant behaviors but we had to move our vehicle away from the lodge because someone continued to through garbage from the balconies that landed on our vehicles from uneaten, mustard covered, hamburgers to tampons!

We had a wonderful time during our 1 night stay at the Wilderness, but.... Our room was clean and had plenty of items for us to cook in the room. We had 2 adults and 6 kids from ages 7-10 and all of us loved the indoor waterpark and the staff inside was nice. We however, did leave an item in our room when we checked out and reported it immediately. The service from "Lost and Found" was terrible. After more than 8 phone calls and only 2 frustrating times even speaking to a real person, we gave up. After spending $500 for a 1 night stay, we are extremely disappointed in this aspect of their business.

Stayed cause it was next to the convention center. But many faults. Restaurant breakfast buffett was terrible. Room cleaning was really bad. Kids next store were really noisey. Room key was deactivated more than once. AC constantly kept going off. View sucked. Room was extremely drab & depressing. Convient store had no prices on anything. When u asked the prices, u know why. Way overpriced. But the front desk was very nice & helpful.
