Great resort and waterpark. Only 2 complaints. Our room appeared clean, but during our stay, we found goldfish crackers and old styrofoam cups under both beds. So you have to wonder what else might not be clean, just not noticeable. The other complaint is about the waterpark serving alcohol. We have been there a few other times, so we knew that they had a bar in the waterpark and we have seen people with drinks in the waterpark. This trip was over President's Day week-end (which we didn't think would be a big "vacation" week-end - WRONG). The park was very overcrowded on Sunday and there were a LOT of people drinking and getting drunk. Since this resort is marketed to families and kids (waterpark, big arcade, adventure games, etc), I think it is inappropriate to have a bar in the waterpark. If they want to serve drinkns in the adults dining areas, that would be much more appropriate.

Room Tip: Don't be afraid to stay at the Stone Hill Lodge - shuttle service is GREAT. Ask questions about...

So much fun with the family. We will diffently go back this summer. Great place to take children of all ages. Very clean. Very nice water park. The location is great also for shopping in pigeon forge. I would give the experience a A.

Room Tip: Staying through the week is alot cheaper. It is a high price on the weekends.

Had never in my life been to this place and Once we got there the entire stay was Awesome Stayed in the River Lodge Studio room..Place is very clean Everyone is very Friendly and helpful. The waterparks themselves are fun, but the location of the resort puts endless attractions and restaurants in close distance. Wilderness is a very clean and comfortable resort.Rooms are extra nice, very clean. We loved it here so much we are going back this weekend... And even if the hallways are long Never hurts to have a bit of exercise in your life. I would Recommend this place to the President.

Room Tip: All Rooms are FAB. I recommend any room to anyone.

We stayed February 10th to 14, in the Stone Hill Lodge. We had a great time. The rooms were clean and neat, and the staff was very friendly. I've stayed a lot of places, and the people I dealt with here were some of the nicest, from the front desk staff, housekeeping, shuttle drivers, gift shop cashiers, candy shop employees, restaurant staff, and water park staff, and especially the Polka Dots Pots lady- my kids loved her!! Since we were staying in the Stone Hill Lodge, and the fun stuff during the winter is in the River Lodge, we rode the shuttle a lot. My kids actually loved it. We didn't ever wait longer than 10 minutes for a ride, and even while waiting with 3 kids under 10, they just sat in the lobby and watched the TV (turned to cartoons, I'll bet to keep kids entertained haha!) until the shuttle arrived. The staff driving the shuttle were very nice and knowledgeable about local attractions. We spent some time in the various gift shops, they're a little pricey on some items, but that's expected. The kids bought some shark goggles for $5. We visited the candy shop in the River Lodge and tried some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. We went to Polka Dot Pots and had a lot of fun painting pottery. The prices in there were reasonable, they have items to pain for under $5, just make sure you don't do it on your last day of stay because they have to glaze them and you get them the next day. We ate in the water park every day, and I thought the food was expensive, until I saw how much they give you- chicken strip combo was $8.99, but you get 8 large chicken strips, a lot of fries, and a drink you can refill for free. My daughter and I split lunch every day. There was not many people when we stayed, so we didn't experience any long lines. After the kids finished playing in the water, we changed and went to the arcade and the kids had a good time. The pillows are awful, LOL, so bring your own. My kids had no complaints, but I didn't like them. We had a blast! We drove 9 hours from outside Chicago to come here, and it was worth it!

This resort offers enticing packages for Smoky Mt. fun. The waterparks themselves are fun, but the location of the resort puts endless attractions and restaurants in close distance. Wilderness is a very clean and comfortable resort. Check out the winter specials for extra savings.
Rooms are extra nice, very clean, and can sleep 4-6 in a standard room, which is a savings for our family of 5. Suites offer more privacy and space, but require more $$.
Water attractions offer many options for all ages, from little to teen.

Room Tip: The hallways are LONG, and we were at the end, which was tedious.
