“Pretty good value.”

If you re Gona stay pay the few extra dollars to stay at the riverlodge. It's a lot better all the way around. I've stayed here 5 times in the last year and I'm never disappointed. My 5 year old little girl has a blast every time were there! Another great stay at an awesome indoor water park in Sevierville.

Just returned from a 3 day stay at this resort. Overall, we had a great time...at a great rate. Keep in mind that the price you see online you'll have to add about $30 worth of taxes and resort fees per day. Still a good deal for what you get. Our 2 year old had a blast at the water park, and mom and dad loved the wave pool and water slides. Plenty to do at the resort. Now for the stress balls. If you drive here, BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW. All pillows (except for one) felt like they were filled with stress balls...not too comfy. Beds a little hard but manageable. Plenty of towels in the room...which is a plus. Also, even the basic room had a large microwave and 2 burner electric stove, plus a mini fridge. Great for those driving. So, in conclusion, we would definitely return. The resort was VERY CLEAN. Pool, very clean with plenty of life guards. Food prices weren't too bad either.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room close to the water park.

We have stayed here 3 times now, and always have a good experience. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 is that the restaurant is consistently mediocre with less than good service. The hotel is very nice and well maintained. Any concerns are addressed quickly and efficiently. The waterpark is well managed and clean with lots of attentive lifeguards. Be aware if you stay in Stone Hill Lodge you must take a short (2 minute) shuttle back and forth to the water park. It is in the same building as the River Lodge. The "dry" activities are a lot of fun and a good value as well.

Room Tip: Worth it to pay a little extra in the winter to stay at River Lodge and avoid the shuttle. This is...

Even when the resort is at full capacity, you don't feel too crowded anywhere. The teenagers had a blast at the Waterdome and the new arcade with all the fun stuff to do. Kids can do there own thing, while adults watch a game in the room or sit at the bar to relax. The room I reserved turned out to be unavailable, but the staff called me as soon as they were aware of the problem and moved me into an alternate, along with a big discount, which was very satisfying. The food is good and readily available. A really great place for an overnight trip or weekend in the winter.

This was our first time to actually stay here, after they had botched our reservations last year. If you do perchance get a really good rate, you'd better still hold on to your wallet. Sure, there is plenty to do! But, although the waterpark is free for guests, everything else costs money. Onsite restaurants are ridiculous (buffet for $19 a person), $3 for a bottle of water. Staff even told a person in our group that he could not take a six pack of beer that was bought off site to his room. Wilderness sells 5 packs for $22. Parking at the sports center that is attached is $5, even if you are a guest (and no outside food OR drinks, including bottled water - we were there for a volleyball tournament - No Water? Really?) We visited the "weight room". No weights, just 2 treadmills and 3 ellipticals. The online picture is very misleading. And then there are the rooms. Rather small, even the junior suites. Quiet? Nope, heard people talking in the hall, on both sides, and guests walking in the room the floor above us. Save your money and go to the LaQuinta or Hampton, both within 1.5 miles of the resort.

Room Tip: If you do choose to stay here, get the top floor so you won't hear guests above you. Rooms in u...

Overall a very positive experience. There is a lot to do at the resort and since the kids ate free in the restaurant, we really never left the property during the two days we were there. Rooms were clean-maybe a little small for the price-but adequate. It was nice to have a refrigerator, microwave, and mini stove top in the room. The waterpark was a lot of fun and there was plenty for my three children, ages 20, 10, and 6, to do. It was also very clean in this area. We also enjoyed the arcade and laser tag game. One of the highlights was the paint your own pottery place - Polka Dot Pots. Just make sure you remember that it takes time to fire your piece - you have to pick up the next day around 11:00. We visited in January during the week and pretty much had the place to ourselves! The day we checked out, though - on Friday - a large group was coming in for a volleyball tournament. So we really felt we timed it well! We will definitely visit again - and hopefully on an off-season week!

Room Tip: This place is huge! Try to stay in the River Lodge to avoid having to ride the shuttle bus. It is wo...

We stayed at this resort because our daughter was playing in volleyball tournament in an adjoining facility. We had a wonderful time! We stayed in the side with the waterpark in a room with 2 queen size beds and a twin bunk. This was plenty of space for our family of 3. The room was well appointed and clean. Housekeeping did a great job replenishing towels and picking up each day. The front desk staff was very knowledgable and friendly. Check in was very quick and painless. The shutttle back and forth from the convention center was great. We didn't have to wait very long and it kept us from paying $5 parking fees each day at the convention center.

The common areas were nice and well maintained. The water park was great! Clean and well supervised. I liked the fact that there were several restaurant options and a small bar in the water park. There are many restaurants and grocery stores within 5 minutes of the property so there are good options outside of the resort.

Our daughter had a great time (15 yrs old). There is something for all ages to enjoy....

Room Tip: Staying in the building on the water park side is much more convenient, especially if the main reaso...
