We stayed in Cabin Fever in the Hidden Springs Resort 3/24/13-3/28/13 and had a wonderful time. We booked on VRBO directly through the cabin owners and they were great. They were prompt, informative and overall very helpful. The cabin was clean and looked just like the pictures online. The hot tub was fabulous after a day of hiking in the park. We cooked most of our meals and found the kitchen to be well equipped. The resort's location is really ideal. We used our ipad to find alternative routes so we bypassed the crazy spring break traffic. Cabin Fever has wifi which worked great. The indoor pool also has wifi but was password protected. We sent a text to the cabin owners and they responded within minutes with the pool's password. We would definitely stay again.

I was with a group of 30 people, I did not book this place. The only thing I can say good about this place is that the cabin was clean. We stayed in the Poolside Lodge. The two main reasons I was told that this place was choosing was because it had wifi, we had 3 people with us that had research papers to finish and email in, and we were not up in the montains with twisty roads, we had several 20 something's with us that had their own vehicles. I would have rather been in the montains, we had no view except of other cabins. In fact the room I stayed in, the window was at right off a road that went up to a whole cluster of cabins. All night long we could hear cars coming and going, that was with the window closed! The road to get to Hidden Springs is a joke! It is barely width enough for two cars to pass each other, good luck if you come upon a truck! Now back to the Wifi, when we arrived it was password protected. We called the office, Hidden Springs provides the Wifi not the owners, they told us it was not password protected! Once we convinced them that it was password protected they told us to reset the modem, big mistake. Well now we could connect to the Wifi but the modem would not connect to the Internet! We called back and no one would answer the phone, this was ten minutes later and it was only 6pm! We tried three more times and gave up. The next morning we called and the first thing they told us was to restart the modem! So we keep them on the phone and restarted the modem, no luck. Then they tell us to restart our computer, I was on my IPhone which I turn off every night, but I restarted it, no luck. So they said they would send someone by. Well the guy they sent had no uniform nor Id saying he work for the resort, but we let him in. All he know how to do was restart the modem! We could not get the office on the phone for the rest of the day, guess you only get one complant per day. The next afternoon we call the office and they tell us to reset the modem and the computer, really! Finally we got they to send someone from the company that owns the equipment. Well they came while we were gone, we can only assume the resort let them in. Well they must have reprogrammed the modem but we still could not get on the Wifi because it was once again password protected and they did not leave the password. No one was answering the phone at the office. The next morning we called the office three times between 9 and 10am. By this point one of the kids had missed the turn in time for thier paper, hopefully they can make it up. Just awful service, they need to train their staff better.

We stayed at A Rocky Top Romance 6/2 - 6/6/2012. Beautiful place. The only problem, we had 2 motorcycles,a truck ,and motorcycle trailer and the place is not motorcycle friendly. When making reservations and you have bikes don't ask "is it motorcycle friendly" ask "do I have level ground at my cabin to park my bike?". The whole resort is a steep incline on the side of a mountain...some places do have flat parking, ours just wasn't one of them. However, our neighbor let us use their drive way. Other than that...AWESOME!!!!

We rented a cabin through Hidden Springs Resorts and a couple of weeks before our scheduled arrival date they called to let me know the cabin we had rented had been taken out of their listings. The owner had removed it. So they told us we could have a bigger cabin at no extra charge. Upon arrival at the Smokey Beary Lodge which takes 15 minutes to get to from Dollywood because the roads were so bad (even had to drive through a stream), we got out to look around. The pictures that are on the web site are like 20 years ago when the cabin was first built. It says 4 bedroon 3 1/2 bath and they forgot to inform us that the half bath was out of order. The porch had animal poop all over it, ashes from not just one ash tray but numerous ones, spider webs that had not been cleaned in what looked like years. Trash that had been there since last season. The inside well it was horrible! very outdated! The entire bottom floor at some poit had been flooded and had mold in the floor and on the walld. the tile had holes in it. some of the lights were not even working. They had told us it had just been spring cleaned but I promise you it had been a very long time since that cabin had been cleaned. There was even a drink bottle from the last family that had stayed there. This cabin goes for $425 a night. Do not waste your money! Unless you want your family to be sick from mold or uncleanliness. We ended up the first night they put us (two families) in a one bedroom cabin and then we moved to a 4 bedroom cabin so we pretty musc lost a entire day to moving around cabins. If they didn't have a cabin open we would have been out our money! They said theydo not give refunds! Something to think about. Also they do not have a manager on the weekends so if you have a problem on Saturday it will not be addressed until Monday! The cabin we finally got moved into Angels Playhouse was beautiful!

Room Tip: Be sure if you rent from Hidden Springs to ask for a newer cabin and get ALL the details!

My wife and I had been coming to the Great Smoky Mountains for many years!

We have seen many Property Management Companies in the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge area. One of the best vacation rental organizations is definitely Hidden Springs Resort. Their office is now located in the "Covered Bridge" Plaza.

Our experiences with (Owners) Jaime and Sally have always been positive and they truly care about their customers! Their houses are always extremely clean, well maintained, spacious and nicely decorated.. Also, their Staff is courteous and friendly.

I would definitely recommend anyone to rent from this company.

I recently stayed at the Dakota Dreams cabin managed by Hidden Spring Resorts. This cabin was fantastic. It was impeccably clean and maintained. The views were incredible. Most of all the people who run this resort provide excellent information and make is a very easy stay. I would highly recomend booking a cabin through Hidden Springs Resort. You will not be disapointed.

Room Tip: ask for a cabin with a good view and deck.
