Owner description: From our fresh cut orchard, we produce apple-based wine blended with other fruits, including grapes. Located on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in the Apple Barn Village, the Apple Barn Winery is next door to the world-famous Apple Barn General Store & Cider Mill, two great restaurants, a bakery, a candy store, an ice cream shop, and a Christmas shop. The Apple Barn Winery offers a unique twist on wine. Our wine is hand crafted in small lots on the farm to provide each customer the best possible wine from local fruit. Open daily for tasting and sales, our family oriented staff would love for you to stop by. Even if you are not a “wine connoisseur”, you will still take pleasure in browsing our gift shop full of unique items as well as wine accessories. Our video tour is a wonderful educational experience that provides the opportunity to learn more about the winemaker’s art.

This place has a wide variety of little shops, all very country chic. There is a bakery, homemade, bread, ice cream and candy. There is also a winery with free wine tasting. We spent $$$ here, some very tasty wines and very good frozen wine mixes.

We hit this winery on our whirlwind tour of the Rocky Top Trail wine tastings...... Marc was our host and he was FANTASTIC. He was very nice and informative. He had a good sense of humor and knowledge of the wines we were sampling.

I purchased the freezer packs in both Sangria and Peach Belini. They are delicious. Our favorites at this stop was were all of the Semi Sweet Wines!!!!

This was our third stop so we got our free wine glasses!!!! (3 stops equal wine glass 5 equals free shirt)!!!!!!

Right next door is a pretty cool Christmas store you can check out after the wine tasting, if you like!

The most beautiful of all the wineries....it's right on the river and you can see the orchard and the vineyard. The tour and wine tasting are free...and they use real wine glasses. I hate to use paper cups! They let you sample any of the wines and had 4 diff wine freezes to sample. Ask to try the blueberry pomegranate wine freeze....it was the bomb!! I got 3 of those! And for right now, the only winery to carry that flavor in that area. They also have a limited edition blackberry port wine that is awesome! But be careful...it is 17.5% alc

Make sure you stop in and do a wine tasting! Visit 3 of the surrrounding wineries and get a free wine glass! I'm a fan of muscadine wine and they have one that is wonderful!
