Beware of misleading advertising! Gated community- open to anyone all hours of the day/night that we saw during our 6 night stay. Indoor pool disappointing- too much chlorine, outdoor pool small and very crowded. Putt-Putt available ONLY if your unit supplies clubs and balls!! Boogie Bear owners did not! Property managers less than helpful after two phone calls! Cabin photos online did not fully depict how congested the space was ... cabins VERY close together, quite noisy if sitting in your porch! Trash cans outside of each property ad if renters did not secure latch animals did get in and make a mess! Three big beautiful bears sighted were a highlight of the property...they were on a ridge and stayed away from the people! Will provide a separate review of this specific cabin. All said, view was lovely, but would never stay at this property again.

The cabin we stayed in for 3 nights was Beautiful View. It is a lovely cabin and accommodated all 8 adults very comfortably. We would definitely stay here again. The cabins are close together but we did not experience any problems at all.

The property is pretty and is gated. It is a little ways out of town. Be aware there is zero cell phone signal at the resort and for about 2 miles outside it. We did have wifi in the cabin. The indoor pool was the reason we picked this resort, and turned out to be disappointing. It had so much chlorine the water was milky white and it burned our eyes when we entered the building. We had to disappoint the kids and say no to swimming. The miniature golf course was pretty sad too. Our cabin had dead red wasps all over the floor when we arrived. It was lacking a blow dryer which the company says was not promised, but that would have been good to know so we could have packed appropriately. We lost power in half the cabin one day, ran out of propane in the grill, and finally the a/c quit working the last day. The rental company did get the
power back on but was of little help with the rest. We had a great weekend, but the cabin and resort did not contribute to it. It was a tolerable place to sleep between our fun.

We just returned from a week at Bear Creek Crossing -- Happy Trails II cabin. It was excellent! Amy was easy to deal with and very helpful in answering all of our questions. The cabin was fully equiped and was absolutely beautiful inside.
The resort cabins are close together but it didn't bother us. Through the week there was not a lot of people there. It took about 7-8 minutes to get to the resort from the Parkway so fairly close to the Outlet Stores and Walmart.
The roads to the resort were all paved and were busy with traffic. It was a winding road and somewhat narrow (no shoulders) but wasn't to bad.
Overall definitely 5 stars!

Room Tip: Deal with Amy -- Happy Trails, Happy Trails II and Across the Trail.

My family and I stayed over a long weekend. We booked through Eden Crest with no issues. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well furnished. The hot tub was clean and the views were beautiful. We did not have any issues with bears but we were warned that there are bears in the area and to not leave out any trash. There is a mini golf course and an indoor pool which was great. The location is convenient to Piegon Forge and Gatlinburg but still far enough away to enjoy the quiet and countryside.

Like others have said, this is like a subdivision of cabins. But we like it. We have stayed in 3 different cabins all through Eden Crest and have liked them all. Amazing Grace, Arden Hill and Unforgettable (my favorite). We like to take our small dog and there are several dog friendly units. Location is excellent. Highly recommend - in fact we are coming back next month to watch leaves change.

Lovely property, nice cabins, pool looked nice, but we didnt visit and there was a large bear walking the streets and getting into the garbage while we were there. Not an ideal situation if you have a small pet. Noisy young adults made for an unpleasant two nights of our visit even though we repeatedly asked them to be quiet! It was an owner rented property, so no mgmt company to call to complain! We also heard that the college kids come out on weekends and taunt the bear with pizza...we should be hearing about this on the news soon as one loses his arm!
