I went to this restaurant on Monday, January 10th for lunch with my mom. Scott was our waiter and he was the best we’ve experienced anywhere. He was quick to bring refills, offer suggestions, and just all around friendly. We will definitely return and with hopes Scott will be our waiter again.

Scott's was our server, he was the bomb. Got us that window table hookup. He then brought the food of the gods and we indulged until our stomachs almost burst.
WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND SCOTT!!

First time here. We put our name on the list. They will not seat you until your whole party has arrived. You go up the escalator once your name is called to be seated. Great views of the Island. It was snowing a bit so it was a perfect lunch. We all got the Savannah style. Which include 4 sides and 3 entrees, cheese biscuits and a dessert. Drinks were extra. We chose fried chicken, spare ribs, catfish, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn casserole and mac and cheese. We thought every choice was delicious. Plenty of it. Our server TY was very attentive and spot on!!
He always had our plates and cups filled. Great job.
The dessert was our least favorite part of the meal. I got the banana pudding. It was not sweet enough.
The ooey gooey cake was the better choice. Long lines waiting here so be prepared. The shop has lots of cute items. I ended up getting a y'all pin.
Hard time choosing. If its warm.outside they did have rocking chairs to people watch.
Total bill for 4 with drinks and tip was $125.

Okay, I’m Southern gal, born and raised so I’ve intended for years to try out PD’s restaurant. We’ve always had little one’s and could never get it timed efficiently so that we didn’t have a ridiculously crazy wait when they were hungry. The years have flown by, the kids are grown, and today was our first visit....loved it so much! We enjoyed this long weekend with family friends in Pigeon Forge as we have every year around this time since all of our kids were tiny. Leaving today, we were fortunate enough to arrive at Paula Deans a little before lunch service began and were seated promptly(service begins @11). I wasn’t sure what to expect because hearing very mixed opinions through the years from family and friends had made me question if I would enjoy the lunch lady’s cookin’. Could it’s delectability have just been over exaggerated??? NO! It was not! The food was delish, service was excellent, the food was family style with refills and our party of 8(5 of which are healthy guys because the little ones are now grown) enjoyed 3 entrees of choice...home style catfish, fried chicken,& BBQ ribs; 4 sides...green beans, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese & sweet corn spoon bread with drinks; and individual desserts for a mere $50 per family, WOWZER! That’s like fast food prices for us anytime but esp. on a vaca. Just a fabulous first time experience for us all. We will make a point to eat here from now on during our little getaways. A great close to another successful trip with lots of laughter, full tummies and all three boys agreeing that it was the best one yet!
