Tiny unit. Dirty bathroom with broken showerhead. No water pressure. No decorations in the unit. Bed had no support.
The view is beautiful but getting to the resort takes you through poorest parts of the area. This is absolutely NOT a gold crown quality resort.

Booked through Veterans Holidays....Superb pricing with all the needed ammenities. Excellent location within easy access to all entertainment. All condos have full balcony view of the Great Smoky Mts. A "turn-key" unit equipped with all the needed kitchen utencils / appliances / towels, etc. Would return here without hesitation

We did a time share exchange and I have to say we are use to much more space and much better quality. Our unit certainly needed some updating. The carpet was very worn in the living room, the finish was coming off of the cabinets in both the bathroom and kitchen. The top sheet on our king size bed appeared to be for a double bed! The towels were of very poor quality and some of them were stained. We had to laugh at the skimpy little bars of soap and the one and a half rolls of toilet paper. We called for more toilet paper and another roll of paper towels and it took over twenty four hours to get them. We are just not use to staying in a resort where there are no cleaning services and the kitchen is basically in the living room. We did like the location, the view from the balcony and we also enjoyed the gas fireplace. The unit would not comfortably house four adults. Maybe two adult and two small children on the couch, but that is it. Compared to what we bought into and where we normally stay, I am being very generous giving this place an average rating. However, I think for this area it probably is at least average. Also, don't count on much as far as the fitness center. About five or six machines crammed in a really little area.

Room Tip: Not sure what to tell you here. We called way ahead of time and asked for a fourth floor unit and g...

Great experience and would stay here again. Very clean, the staff does a great job in keeping up grounds. We had a 1 BR suite. Great view, step hill going into resort. Little sketchy driving up resort, but we never had issues when traveling. Easy check in experience. Unit was little dated but, all worked well. We did have a plumbing and electrical issue, but a phone call in and it was fixed within an hour. Staff followed up with call afterwards to see if all went well and was working. Would recommend.

We stayed at Sunrise Ridge Resort between October 19 and 26th. This was a pretty secluded location as the road to the resort is very winding and away from the center of everything. However, it's very quiet here and easy to get to. We were able to avoid the strip the first couple of days in the area since this was supposed to be "High Season" for the fall colors. The strip was bumper to bumper with traffic.

The resort is in a good location and we had a wonderful view of the mountains and the morning sunrise from our back deck. We stayed in a one-bedroom and it was very spacious. On one side of the building is a stair for access to the other floors and on the other side is an elevator. The resort is well maintained and the views of the fall colors were beautiful.

We had a bit of a problem with the TV and DVD player as the control didn't allow you to change from one to the other. You had to use the buttons on the side of the TV to change the input to the DVD player. It took a bit to figure out how to change the setting. I inadvertantly changed the channel input and lost the TV channels. I had to call maintenance and they were there very quickly. It turns out I had changed the input channel to channel 4 instead of channel 3. My mistake but it was taken care of quickly.

The bathroom had a regular tub/shower combination and a single sink,. There wasn't a lot of room between the toilet and vanity although there was plenty of room otherwise. The washer and dryer were also in the bathroom.

The kitchen area was shared with the living room but was not inconvenient. There was plenty of room but there was no divider between the two.

The resort is nice with both indoor and outdoor pools. As I've mentioned, the views are great. There is also a lot to do in the area. We took in a couple of the shows, went to the caverns, visited the Bush museum and traveled into the mountains to view the beautiful fall scenery.

I hadn't been to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area in 40 years, so this was a nice trip all around.

When looking for the resort, just be aware that you may pass a compost facility which had a strong oder some mornings. But you didn't smell it from the resort.

One last thing. If you happen to be in town on a Sunday, visit, "The Gathering". It isn't far from the resort and a very nice place to go to church.

Room Tip: Try to get a high floor so you have an unobstructed view of the mountains.

We have been a timeshare holder since the beginning. We have enjoyed all the resorts and always go to Sunrise at least once a year. Last year we came in October and caught the leaves just right, it was breathtaking. In December we took the grands up during Christmas. They had a wonderful time going to shows, and going to the indoor water park across from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. They loved it. We had a picnic and spent the day. At night they got to swim in the indoor pool while the adults relaxed in the hot tub. It was a great long week-end and we plan on making it a tradition. We have always been pleased with the condo whether it was the one bedroom, two bedroom or the pedestal. Always clean, with a staff very friendly and considerate of your needs. We are returning in November of 2012 and can't wait.

Room Tip: Corner (End) rooms are more spacious. All have a great view of the mountains. The pedestal's g...

I have been an owner at Sunrise Ridge for more than 10 years. The views are breathtaking and the location is off the strip in a quiet section of Pigeon Forge. From this location, you can get almost anywhere on the back roads which is quite nice especially when the car shows are in town. I go to Dollywood a lot and enjoy the mountains and nearby music theaters and this is an all around great place to stay whether you are exchanging, renting, or traveling with other owners. It is very small compared to other timeshares (only three buildings) which may account for the great service we always receive when staying here. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed. There is no restaurant on site but they have a fully equipped kitchen to save you more money if you don't mind eating in.

Room Tip: Third and fourth floor rooms have the best views of the mountains. They have an elevator and severa...
