We loved our stay at The Inn at Christmas Place. We stayed 2 nights and were a family of 2 adults and 3 children. The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff was friendly and courteous. This hotel offered a fantastic indoor pool, outdoor pool with slide, free breakfast, and even a game room. We had a pretty view of the pond and Christmas store across the road. We'd love to come and stay again. I thought the price was very reasonable too for all we got for our stay.

This past Mother's Day weekend we booked a stay at The Inn at Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge. Our adult son's live in Alabama and my wife, daughter and I live in Virginia so Pigeon Forge seemed like a good half way point. Whene booking our stay the reservation attendant was VERY helpful. She suggested a theme suite with an ajoining room for the 5 of us. The hotel was very booked, a common occurance I understand, but she did everything she could to move rooms around so we can get our rooms together. She even called back the next day to confirm our reservations. After a long drive we were greeted at the door by both a doorman and bellman. This place is FIRST CLASS! Check in was a breeze. I had ordered flowers for my wife for Mother's Day through the hotel. The flowers were beautiful and they had a tray of cookies waiting for us in our room. The suite is simply beyond belief. There is a Christmas Tree in the suite and one in bedroom. The bedroom also had a large king bed, fireplace and large tub. Everything was clean and very well decorated. The firnishings are all wonderful. There were two flatscreen TV's and a full kitchen. The price paid for all of this was quite reasonable. Also included in the price of your room is a FULL breakfast with scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, buscuits and gravy and made to order omlets. This is quite a savings when traveling with 5 adults. Each night there is a singing Santa in the parlour. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub one evening but were unable to swim in what looked like a very nice outdoor pool due to thunder storms. Again, both the indoor and outdoor pool are first class. After a day of touring and swimming you will rest well in the MOST comfortable bed ever! It is worth the price of the room for such a wonderful night sleep. This hotel is the very best of Pigeon Forge. I was actually shocked at how tacky the entire Pigeon Forge area looked. It is just full of minigolf, go carts and chain restaurants. The Inn at Christmas Place is a wonderful exception to an otherwise tacky strip.

Stayed here for a week while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Building is quite new (we were told it opened in mid-2007), and the rooms and common areas are nicely decorated. Beds are very comfortable (more comfortable, in fact, than those I've slept in at much pricier hotels). The free breakfast is quite good (better than what you would get at, for example, Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express). Our room, billed as "Courtyard View," had a balcony overlooking the landscaped ponds in front of the hotel and the main drag of Pigeon Forge.

Well I'll start off with this: I'm a staff member on a website called the Yellow Mustang Registry. We chose this hotel as our host hotel for our Pigeon Forge event this year.

One factor we had to consider was space for parking, as many of our members trailer vehicles. This parking lot is very accommodating with plenty of space.

The rates, though higher for this area, are not unreasonable when considering general hotel rates for a hotel of this caliber. I've stayed in a lot of hotels on a lot of trips with the Yellow Mustang Registry and this price is about average when compared to the other places.

The hotel is by far better than any other hotel I've stayed in, especially at this price range. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are very nice.

The breakfast - FREE with the stay - is very good. Can't beat the price! Generally when you have free breakfast you expect donuts and cereal. This one has an omelet bar and biscuits and gravy and sausage, etc. Very good!

The atmosphere is beautiful; the staff is friendly and the location in great!

We'll be returning to this hotel as our host hotel for years to come.

We booked a stay at the Inn for our anniversary. Our stay began on 4-24-09 for 2 nights. We had stayed at another hotel the night before and were wishing we had stayed there all 3 nights. We had came down and had pulled our motorcycle in a trailer behind our truck. We checked in and had to come back 3 times before our room was ready. When we got in the room, it was small, very small. We paid for balcony courtyard view. Our view might as well been the parking lot because all we could see of the courtyard was the edge with nasty looking water standing about 2 feet deep. They needed to refurbish the landscaping in that section. The room itself, aside from being small, is tastefully decorated in christmas decor and was exceptional clean. The pool area is nice but compared to the other resort , very small. We could here noise at night from people in the hallways, here. Enough to wake you from sleep. The decor is fabulous here with the christmas theme everywhere. Your kids can see Santa and have thier pic made with him on Saturday or Sunday mornings. A relaxing balcony for all guests on lobby floor is available and the views here are beautiful at night. The beds were heavenly soft. We loved the beds and pillows. We enjoyed our stay, but with just a few disappointments.

That particular section of the pond is the catch-pond for our Eco-friendly storm run-off. Water is filtered and recycled before going directly into the river. In this area, the weather usually does not permit for landscaping of this type. Also, we have a pre-registration process at the front desk to give the time when a room is ready for guests' convenience.

We decided to take an inexpensive trip during spring break. We decided on the Gatlinburg area. Our kids (8 & 9) had never been there, it was only about 8 hours away, and we have always wanted to go to Dollywood. I had book two other hotels earlier. One was in Pigeon Forge - the Fairfield because we were using our Marriott Points and then another hotel in Gatlinburg. Neither of those hotels had indoor pools and the weather was going to be a little cold. I started thinking that we really should switch hotels and have one with a pool. LUCKILY I came acros The Inn at Christmas Place. I showed the website to my husband and he said he definitely wanted to stay there. So I cancelled the others. I was so glad that I did.

We stayed for 6 nights. We were very pleased when we got to the hotel - lots of stone and wood. It looks very classy. We had a standard room. We were told that it was on the ground level, but if we waited about 1/2 hour they would have more rooms higher up ready. The man at the desk offered to show us the room first. I thought that was nice and we decided to keep it. It was close to breakfast and the pool so it was perfect. We also liked that the patio was made of stone and it was nice to sit out there and read. The room was beautifully decorated. The room was large and there was plenty of space to unpack clothes for 4 people for 7 days. That was a definite plus in my book. I also liked that the bathroom was large with lots of counter space. I did find though that there was a lot of noise coming in from the door that connected our room to the one next to us. It was not coming in from the walls - only that door. We might not have noticed it if the neighbors didnt have small children that were kind of loud.

There is a microwave, refridgerator, and DVD in everyroom. That saved us a lot of money. We were able to bring home our leftovers and eat those the following day. We usually went out for one really nice dinner every other night and tried to eat the leftovers in the room the next night to save a bit on money. CVS is a few buildings down and we were able to pick up a few things there - like microwave macaroni & cheese for the kids. The Old Mill has great food and they give you huge portions for a great price - I highly recommend that place for dinner. We had bought Dollywood season passes and went three times. They closed at 7pm each night, We were able to rent movies at a RedBox for only $1. Then we popped microwave popcorn for the movie. That made our evening nice and relaxing. We also brought our computer and enjoyed the free internet service. My husband is a marathon runner and needed to be able to map out runs while we were there. I was happy there was no extra cost involved. I really believe that while this hotel may be a bit more money than others, once you see the amendities they have, in the longer run you will save money.

The breakfast was also great. Lots of choices and it really filled you up. I had an omlette each day. With such a large breakfast we only needed a small lunch while at Dollywood. (again - another way to save $) We found that the earlier you go to breakfast, the quicker it was to get your food. So, we went kind of early and then went back to the room to finish getting ready for the park. We also enjoyed listening to the Santa that came to the hotel by the beautiful fireplace to sing. The kids loved the milk and cookies too.

This place is such a treat. It really helped us to not only appreciate all the fun places we were going, but to also enjoy staying in a wonderful hotel. We will be back in June.

We took our 15 year old granddaughter and 8 year old granddaughter to Pigeon Forge for spring break. We were fascinated by the Inn at Christmas Place and made reservations there. It was one of the most wonderful vacations we've ever had. The Inn is tastefully decorated in gorgeous Christmas trees, flowers, fireplace, Santas, reindeer, and a nativity scene. Even the rooms are decorated in the Christmas theme. The girls were awestruck! Every employee we encountered treated us like royalty. They smiled, they spoke, and everyone asked if there was anything they could do for us. One evening, they even brought fresh baked cookies to our room. The breakfast was top-notch with omelletes cooked to order and any other breakfast food imaginable including a choice of two meats. Large uncrowded dining rooms. The rooms were large and extremely comfortable. The beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in a motel. Rooms were immaculately clean aswas the entire motel. The pool was relaxing and fun with plenty of fresh towels. I highly recommend this motel.
