Owner description: For over 12 years, The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show has been entertaining Pigeon Forge with its unique brand of murder, mayhem, and mystery. Loyal followers including returning tourists and local residents keep coming back for first class entertainment, good food, and “whodunit”! “You’ll laugh ‘til you die!” The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show is a small and intimate theater, which proves perfect for the up close and interactive show it provides. Our traditional, restaurant-style murder mystery plays out all over the dining room, so every seat is the perfect seat. There are four sidesplitting, parody style shows played in repertory each week: Scarlett Reloaded (New for 2017), Moonshine Murders, The Killbillies, and Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Guests will be given the opportunity to participate in the mystery, either by becoming an audience actor or by solving the murder using the clue packet provided at each seat. New for 2017, Scarlett Reloaded is the sequel to our audience favorite, Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Moonshine Murders stars the Luke family who have been runnin’ shine in Sevier County but are finding it harder to evade the law with all of the tourists in town. The Clampetts are the stars of The Killbillies who have relocated to Pigeon Forge, where Jed is looking for a new life and a new wife! And then there’s Scarlett and Melody, the not-so-sweet daughters of Colonel Simpson, who is looking to marry-off his two bundles of joy in Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Your ticket includes our “laugh ‘til you die” murder mystery show with a Prize Package for the Top Sleuth of the night, as well as a three-course dinner with choice of soup and desert topping.

I have been to one other murder mystery theater before, but this was done around the tables not on a stage. The performers were really good- and there were ad-lib moments where everyone was just laughing. It really was fun. The food was OK- not great, especially for the price. Kids wouldn't be interested.

The food was good and it was served different from other dinner shows we had been to. They had a scene or act and then served a course of the meal and then had another act and the next course and so on. This play was done in the middle of the floor in the audience instead of on a stage. They chose people in the room from the audience to read parts in the play. Some of them were really funny. It was different and it was good. Only thing is that sometimes you couldn't see the actors around the audience since they were acting on the floor. You didn't get a table of your own. You were assigned to a table with several people but it gave you a chance to hear of the other activities and shows you might want to check out.

The food was great especially the creamy vegetable soup. The actors were pretty funny and the girl playing Lucy was great! Cute little show for our first night in town on our honeymoon.

What a cute show! We saw the Lucy mystery- there are also 2 other shows. We actually signed up for the Moonshine murder mystery but the internet ad said that shows were subject to change. Not a problem for us, but there was a lady at our table who was a little disappointed since she had already seen the Lucy show. The theater is much smaller than some of the other local shows but I found that to be a big plus as it was a more "homey, relaxed atmosphere". The actors were great, the one who played Ricky even had the same accent and the actress who played Lucy did a great job with Lucy's mannerisms etc. All the actors and actresses were great and extremely funny, we spent most of the night laughing! The audience is even given some fun puzzles to do before the show and during serving breaks which are clues to help you figure out who committed the crime. If you guess correctly you can even win a prize such as tickets to another Pigeon Forge show. Our food included chicken, pork loin, mashed potatoes, cheesecake, and good ole southern sweet tea which was served by the nicest, most professional server. We absolutely will go back to see the other two shows when we return to Pigeon Forge!

Dinner was good. Actors were funny. Something different to do when you're in the mountains. The show is not as elaborate as some of the others but it is well worth at least one visit.
