Owner description: For over 12 years, The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show has been entertaining Pigeon Forge with its unique brand of murder, mayhem, and mystery. Loyal followers including returning tourists and local residents keep coming back for first class entertainment, good food, and “whodunit”! “You’ll laugh ‘til you die!” The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show is a small and intimate theater, which proves perfect for the up close and interactive show it provides. Our traditional, restaurant-style murder mystery plays out all over the dining room, so every seat is the perfect seat. There are four sidesplitting, parody style shows played in repertory each week: Scarlett Reloaded (New for 2017), Moonshine Murders, The Killbillies, and Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Guests will be given the opportunity to participate in the mystery, either by becoming an audience actor or by solving the murder using the clue packet provided at each seat. New for 2017, Scarlett Reloaded is the sequel to our audience favorite, Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Moonshine Murders stars the Luke family who have been runnin’ shine in Sevier County but are finding it harder to evade the law with all of the tourists in town. The Clampetts are the stars of The Killbillies who have relocated to Pigeon Forge, where Jed is looking for a new life and a new wife! And then there’s Scarlett and Melody, the not-so-sweet daughters of Colonel Simpson, who is looking to marry-off his two bundles of joy in Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Your ticket includes our “laugh ‘til you die” murder mystery show with a Prize Package for the Top Sleuth of the night, as well as a three-course dinner with choice of soup and desert topping.

“Great Family Fun”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

A great early evening of family fun. We were delighted with the actors in their portrayal of an unlikely comedy spin-off of the Dukes of Hazzard TV show. The meal consisted of boneless pork loin as well as a fried chicken breast with mashed potatoes and green beans. For desert there was cheesecake with one’s choice of glaze; chocolate, caramel, raspberry or no glaze at all. I liked the coffee and my wife said the ice-tea was just like she liked it. The wait staff was as delightful as the actors and made us feel like VIP’s as they kept our glasses filled. An all-around good time with no vulgarity. Because the show doesn’t seat more than 50 make your reservations a day or two ahead.

“Food was terrible. Show not very interesting.”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We were really looking forward to this show. I had always wanted to do a murder mystery dinner. The food was terrible. The show was cute, but not very interesting. It was not worth my time or money.

“Great show”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

My family took 4 of our close friends. They had never been to the play
house. All was excitied. We saw the Bradly Bunch. This was a great
choice for the kids we had with us. Ages 12,13,&14. The play househas other plays going on now, but this is better for young fokes.
The play takes place in the 60"s& 70"S with hippy music & wild hair
We got to see the Village People(singing group) from that time. All cast members were great& I got to have my picture taken with them. I got to
meet Mike(Manager)& always got to speek with Jeanie( she is a sweet
lady) the ticket manager. She is the sweetist lady, if you have a problem
she cant fixshe will find someone who can( she has never let me down
& she goes above& beyond) The play house has been in Pigeon Forge
for 8 years( Mike has been manager the last three) Mike & his staff are
good people. The wait staff we had the 26th of March was new to me
but was real good, right on top of things. The play house is'nt on the parkway, but you wont have any trouble finding it & worth your time & money. The meal is to DIE FOR) get it this is a murder dinner show
hahaPlease check it out & tell them Brenda Workman from Muncie, In
sent you. Break a leg gang & hope to see you soon
Keep laughing
