Small cast keeps ticket prices reasonable. Some current songs...Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town but, a lot of out dated old songs, such as Oak Ridge Boys, Gatlin Brothers, Dolly Parton, HeHaw, Alabama, etc... some gospel. Doubt there would have been no more than twenty people that had tickets, outside of the 3 tour buses that pulled up. A church group and a retirement home group were two of the tour buses. Show seemed to be targeted to their audience, which was mostly seniors. Picked this place over another high rated opry show thinking this would be "today's country" and it did not meet that expectation. It was good and was a night out but, not as good as it could have been. Needs to focus more on the current country music to attract a wider audience.

“Good but not great”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

A must-go show if you like child performers - but the first half lacked much energy. Overall too much modern dance - just doesn't work with country. Some of the singers do a good job and an energetic performance - the harmonica guy, the guy on bass guitar (Brad I think was his name)... and the main guy Kevin did well (but could step it up to be really good). Most of them do an above-average job but just lack enthusiasm and energy that you should expect for the price of admission. The second half stepped up and the last half hour or so was actually good. Overall, I was disappointed that they have a very good concept, good talent, but most of the performers are "just dialing in" or going through the motions of a show they do repetitively and have lost their passion for doing.

“Great show”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

We have been to pigeon forge many times but this was our first time at Country Tonight. I said after the show why haven't we been here before. We had an excellent time and it was an excellent show. Every person in the show did an excellent job. I can tell that they focus on excellence . They achieved it.
The youth in the show were excellent . I was surprised how good they were. They were amazing in voice and in their ability to play their instruments ,and their ability to act.
If you don't go to this show you missed the heart and soul of pigeon forge.

“Very good show”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

The show was quick paced and good. Two young people (12 & 15 years old) stole the show. The sang and played instruments. One the banjo and the other the guitar. Would recommend this show.
