We stopped in for breakfast on our way out of Gatlinburg. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The country store next to the restaurant has a great selection of food products, t-shirts and souvenir items. The ice cream at the Old Mill Creamery across the street is possibly the best ice cream I've ever had (we stopped in there the day before). We would definitely eat here again.

Good corn chowder, delicious fresh corn fritters, main courses and deserts, all at a very fair price.

We ordered the ribs and chicken pot pie.Everything about this meal was mediocre from the salad and corn chowder, the green beans, mashed potatoes, the side ribs were smothered in a sickly BBQ suauce, the pot pie was over cooked, the chicken limited, the gravy watery! The dessert was mediocre too!No wine served here either! Note the traffic in this area is horrendous, at least during our visit.

I have never seen my 15 year old son clear his plate so quickly! The pot roast he ordered was cooked to perfection. The rest of our meals were wonderful as well

Upon our evening arrival, we wanted a full meal. We waited 40 minutes to be seated. Once seated we were waited upon quickly and efficiently. Each meal comes with corn chowder and corn muffins of sort. I needed information on if these items contained "wheat". The server could not come up with an answer. He said he asked the cooks, but they were new and did not know, so it best they not be eaten by those with an intolerance. That was pretty unacceptable, but we had ordered, thus stayed. I had the barbecue pork, green beans, cole slaw. My husband the ribs, baked potato, green beans. The barbecue pork was much too sweet and reminded me of the kind one gets from a plastic container at the grocery. Cole slaw and beans were good. Prices were high, but good portions which allowed us to have leftovers. We would not go again, really overrated. It's cousin, across the street so to speak, was 100% better. The Old Mill Cafe and Grill.
