If you like old fashioned 'country cooking", then you won't be disappointed by the Old Mill. We have eaten there about a half dozen times and never been disappointed. Personal favorites are the pot roast and meat loaf, but you really can't go wrong with anything. Warning - the portions are enormous so you better have a good appetite. By the way, save room for the homemade pecan pie or chocolate cake, which are awesome. If you go before 4:00, the lunch prices are cheaper than dinner. Old Mill also has a great breakfast. The Old Mill restaurant is always a "must do" when we visit Pigeon Forge.

“good and plenty”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

the old mill restaurant is one of the best places I have eaten. the people are super friendly and the food was delicious. and there is plenty of food, we laughed at one of our party members that they killed a flock of chickens to bring her the chicken tenders. but in all seriousness the amount is a lot so we sampled some of everything that the party ordered. I would recommend this to anyone. I will definitely go back.

“Loved it!”

OMG the food was awesome!! I got the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, green beans, vegetable soup, fritters and biscuits with sweet tea to drink. You got way more than you could eat and well worth the money. Everything was great!

“Not disappointed exactly, but wasn't as good as it is made out to be.”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

After years of coming to Pigeon Forge we finally got to eat at Old Mill. We arrived just before 6 pm on a Wednesday before rod run weekend. We were told a 20 minute wait but it was a little less. My husband had pork chops and I had meat loaf. The food was good, but not fantastic. Our server was quick and efficient. That being said, the fast pace of the meal service was not my favorite, kinda felt like we were being rushed. All the service staff was warm and friendly but it was service without a smile, no one appeared genuinely happy to be there. Our meal was $45, and included dessert, so good value. Pecan pie and banana pudding were good, but nothing close to mom's. Glad I finally ate at the Old Mill, but may stick with Cracker Barrel next time.

“Excellent and quick service. Lots of food for money!”
Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

Service was excellent. Server was fast and very efficient. Food was excellent. Complimentary corn chowder and corn fritters were very good. Large amount of food on each meal. Free refills on sides but we were stuffed. None of us 4 could finish our meals. Roast beef has 4 large pieces on each meal. Shrimp dinner had 10 nice sized shrimp. Homemade rolls with dinner also and comes with dessert. We all got dessert to go. Pecan pie good, chocolate cake good. Cobbler didn't look so good in box. Didn't see much crust. But overall excellent experience. We got there on Saturday afternoon around 4:30 and only had to wait about 5 minutes for party of 4. When we came out after 5 was crowded. Heard someone tell another person hour twenty minutes wait. So would recommend getting there early.
