Owner description: Come Ride the Hill and Feel the Thrill! The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster is the longest downhill ride in the United States, with over 1 mile of track. So if you are looking for an unforgettable experience in your vacation here in the Great Smoky mountains, this is a must do! The vehicles are designed to carry two visitors in comfort but can be handled easily by one alone. The riders are in control of the velocity (up to 27 mph) and this gives them a unique hands-on experience! Rain, snow or sunshine, no problem - the excellent braking effect is unchanged so you can ride year-round! Tickets and packages are now available, age restrictions may apply, parents may need to ride with small children. Our track has thousands of colored LED lights so you can experience our awesome Night Rides! The great "Über Ride" is HERE!

“2nd times a charm!”
Reviewed July 20, 2014

We actually rode this coaster twice. The first time we were behind two cars that rode with their brakes on so they could turn and talk to each other which caused the first ride to be awful. We complained and were given another ride. The second time was great! Our little boy wanted to ride again and again. It would be nice if a second track could be added for those less thrill seeking riders to keep this from happening.

“Awesome”

Great little ride with a nice long relaxing ride to the top. Lots of fun for a good price. Just remember it's $15/ride or you can get 4 ticket for $44 ($11/each), which works out better!

“Worth the money!”
Reviewed July 20, 2014

Me, my husband our 12 year son and our 12 year old nephew went this summer, and were glad we did. We go to the Smoky Mountains 2-3 times a year, and love that we are seeing new things to do. This is very affordable and lots of fun. Clean facility and friendly staff! Lines are long at times, but they move pretty fast.
