The Wax museum was very nicely laid out, new building and friendly staff. However, "Castle of Chaos" is joined with the wax museum and the lady described it has like a fun little shooting game so we bought tickets to it also. When we got there it was AWFUL. I would not recommend getting the "pick two". Castle of Chaos was a waste of money and just absolutely awful. However, the Wax Museum was fantastic!

Had to change plans quickly because of weather and visited Hollywood Wax Museum instead of dolly wood. All the kids had a great time and so did the adults. Next time this will be on our original itinerary!

We had a blast posing with the wax figures and taking photos. Just did not like the two ladies sitting about midways into the museum that would not take no for and answer about buying are viewing a timeshare.

I only know about 3/4 of the featured celebrities, And only care for about 1/4 of them.
The highlights in my opinion are:

1. Tom Hanks (As Forrest Gump)
2. Bela Lugosi (As Dracula)
3. Boris Karloff (As Frankenstein's Monster)
4. William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, And Deforest Kelley ( As Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, And Dr. McCoy. All from Star Trek)
5. Dolly Parton
6. Sylvester Stallone (As Rocky Balboa)

Buy I'd love to see Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd from Back to the Future.

This museum was mildly entertaining at best. Some of the wax figures barely resemble the person they were supposed to Portray. I expected to see more figures than what were there. We were finished in about fifteen or twenty minutes.. The neatest display was King Kong in the lobby of the museum. It has a sculpture of his face in the background and his hand in which you can stand behind and have your picture taken. However, you are not allowed to take any pics with your own camera of this display. An employee will take your picture and you may purchase it if you wish. They do encourage you to stand by any of the figures in the museum for pictures as long as you do not touch them. Our kids (8 & 6) recognized and enjoyed a few of the figures. They were ready to move on in about 10 minutes. There was a small section of graphic figures from horror movies that we chose to skip because of the kids. This is not a repeat attraction for my family.
