“Great place to stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2012

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights on spring break. Check-in was quick and simple, staff was nice. Walking into our room it smelled clean and it was extremely clean! We stayed in room 310, a King Jacuzzi Suite with a fireplace and balcony and it was great. The jacuzzi was great, easily big enough for both of us. The room itself was huge and the balcony was very big and very private also. Our balcony overlooked a little river which was peaceful. Great location too, 1 block off the parkway, so everything was walking distance.

The only bad thing was the bed was a little to firm for us. It wasn't terrible, but it was definitely a little harder than we were used to.

Overall, great place to stay with a very reasonable price. Glad I booked this hotel for us.

On a recent trip to visit relatives, we stayed at Twin Mountain Inn (#1) partly because of the economical cost and partly because of a TripAdvisor review that attested to its being very clean. We agree. While this part of the inn is older, it is a block off the strip and across the Little Pigeon river. Our room had a small balcony that overlooked it and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out listening to the sound of the rushing water and watching the geese and ducks. The room was huge--almost 2 rooms because the 2 queen sized beds were separated by the bathroom. Each had its own television set (small but working) and there was a small refrigerator. This is the perfect spot for an older couple or a family on a budget. Not fancy, but a quiet place to revive. The disadvantage is that it is at the very end of the parkway; other hotels are located closer to the action so you can walk to everything. But parking isn't an issue. We booked on line with a very reasonable rate, but the price had gone down before we arrived and the staff took care of the adjustment before we asked. Maid service was extra except for emptying wastebaskets and replacing towels and extra coffee cost more, but we brought some food with us so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was at a local pancake house which was fine. Again, not a luxury resort, but if you just need a place to sleep this is an excellent place to hang out.

We drove up to Pigeon Forge a day before check-in at our timeshare and were looking for an affordable place to stay. We stopped in the Twin Mountain Properties "cabin" on the parkway and were directed to this location - the Twin Mountain Inn II - about a block off the parkway kind of behind Dixie Stampede. We were very pleased with our stay. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and the prices were very reasonable ($39.95 for a Saturday night during spring break)! The decor in the room was a little dated (floral border on the walls) but the room was very clean and in good repair. My husband, my 2 sons and myself stayed in a 2 bed room with a gas fireplace on a timer and a balcony overlooking the river. It was very enjoyable to sip coffee and watch the birds on our balcony the next morning. Our stay even included breakfast at the Smoky Mountain Pancake House on the parkway - our choice of either grits/oatmeal and toast, pancakes or biscuits and gravy. We all enjoyed our breakfast and would definately come back to the Twin Mountain Inn II if looking for an affordable stay in the Pigeon Forge area.

Twin Mountain Inn is the only place my family stays when we go to Pigeon Forge. The rooms are always clean and very spacious. We really love the creek that flows behind it, The rates are very reasonable and the staff welcoming and very helpful.

I have stayed here 3 times a year for the past 5 years. The balconies are beautiful, and it is directly on the river. It's directly off the main parkway, so there isn't all the traffic, but you still have the convenience of the strip. The rooms are large and separated, so that my children can stay on one side with their own tv...while I have the privacy of my own area, with my own tv. It's always clean and I don't have a single complaint. The rooms are insanely affordable, so that you can still stay at a fantastic room & save your money for all the attractions. They even have wifi so that my kids are entertained while we choose to rest and relax on the river. In the summertime, the kids intertube down a great stretch of the river while we can watch from the balcony. I only ever stay here now, simply because in this case...it is not true when they say "you pay for what you get." It is so inexpensive with way better amenities than more heard of hotels. I love it here.

Great place to stay in Pigeon Forge,TN. Off the main road so it is nice and quite. Very very clean with friendly staff. Would highly recommend this property to stay at. Will definitely be going back myself. They also have cabins but we stayed at the inn.

We decided to just drive up and see what we could find deal wise. We ran upon the offices on the Parkway. Loved the cabin feel!! We were able to get a 2 king room. I was so excited when we got to the room across the river. It was secluded, even though it was an actual motel building. They didn't book rooms right next to each other so you didn't constantly hear people around. The room was so clean and tidy. You could smell it was clean when you walked in. We got up the next morning, went out and fed the ducks. That was the highlight of my 6 year olds trip! We will definitely be staying here again!!
