“Clean rooms, Low rates”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

The rooms here were very clean and affordable. The rates were much lower than motels just a few minutes down the road. I think they had just remodeled because there was a hint of fresh paint smell. I will definately stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms around back are quieter.

The reception staff were good, polite and helpfull, we paid 60 dollars inc tax. The hoet is on the main rode and close to most of the attractions in pigeon Forge which i thought was good value. The rooms we had were large with two queen beds, p.enty of room, fridge, microwave. Most importantly they were clean and comfortable. Would be more than happy to return.

This is truly a horrible property. The staff is o.k. and friendly enough. The bed was horrible. The room was clean, but the hotel is right on the main street and it is noisy. It is a bit old and run down. They have tried to re-do the rooms, but our room had several issues, which they were not able to address all of them. The worst was the matress was like a rock. A marble slab would have been better. There are brand new properties starting at $39.99. Why pay $50 for a dump? Let's not even talk about thier idea of a full hot breakfast. Microwaving a boiled egg and a crappy store bought donought does not count.

Room Tip: Back side is better, but the facility truly needs a bulldozer.

The entire property (including the room that I stayed in) was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Also, it is located in the heart of Pigeon Forge. The room itself was reasonably priced and was "right sized" (not too big, but not too small either). The Wi-Fi reception was excellent. I had no problems using it to connect to the Internet. Also, there was a refrigerator / microwave combo in the room. Unfortunately, this hotel did have some flaws. Starting in the bathroom, the shower leaked water onto the floor so I had to use one of the nice towels to mop it up. Also, it made a "squealing" noise and the shower head was fixed at a low height (about 5 feet high). The grab bar for the shower was at the end where the toilet is. With the toilet itself, I had to hold the handle down to make it flush completely. Next, the cooling within the refrigerator was not consistent; most items would be cooled properly while some would be frozen solid. Then occasionally the room door would not shut. Breakfast was not continental style, but not a full meal either : hard boiled eggs, biscuits, sausage (mix) gravy, dry cereal, milk (when you could get it to pour from the pitcher), juice, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, etc. The breakfast area itself was very disappointing. It consisted of 6 tables placed very closely to one another. Much too small for a hotel of its size. Something else to be aware of is that there is only one elevator (south end; back side) so you'll do a lot of walking if (like myself), you are given a room at the opposite end.

When you stay in a resort area during the busy season at a motel charging $60 (tax incl.) for a double-queen room, you usually don;t expect much. The Quality Inn-Parkway is not fancy, but it is very clean - cleaner than many motels and hotels at considerably higher prices. The room was large, partly because there was no table near the front as is usually the case. Plenty of room here for a rollaway bed.

The room included a microwave and mini-fridge, both spotless and in good order. Likewise, the bathroom was clean, though a little small, and the shower gave water at the right temperature and flow.

Wi-Fi was excellent in speed and reliability. The TV is still an old tube type and not flat-screen, but had an large selection of basic-cable channels.

The location is excellent, about a mile from the Tanger outlet center at the south end of Sevierville and three miles away from Dollywood. Dining options abound.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

Problems: Not many for this class of lodging. The building is fairly close to the road, so road noise can be a problem and getting in and out during heavy traffic times can be problematic. There's some noise bleed from adjoining rooms. The pillows are small and few, though the bed is very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is typical fare for this type motel with the ubiquitous make-your-own waffles; biscuits and gravy were cold and doughy, though.

All in all, an excellent value. Recommended, especially for those on a budget.

I am glad we stayed here!! I am so tired of having terrible hotel experiences while I travel. The Quality Inn met every need that I have. They are helpful, friendly, CLEAN, Safe. Plus the breakfast in the morning was decent and the kids loved the swimming pool and even the baby loved splashing in the sprinkler area. The A/C worked well. The water pressure in the shower wasn't that great but that is forgivable if other needs are met. The Refrigerator in the room Actually worked GREAT!!! I will remember this hotel for all future travel as long as they keep this up!! And they are in excellent walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and attractions. And a Trolley Stop is right in front of the hotel too.
