My family just returned from our spring break vacation at Big Bear. We were pleasantly surprised to find how large, bright, and clean the cabin/condo was. There were 3 floors. My husband and I slept in the master loft which overlooked the living room, below. The second floor had an outdoor hot tub which was very clean, a modern kitchen and a living area with a gas fireplace which my boys, 13 and 10 loved! The boys slept downstairs which was like an apartment, with another fireplace, an efficiency kitchen, and a jacuzzi bathtub. The soundproofing was superb!
On the downside: we had a wasp problem in our cabin. We contacted the office who promptly sent a workperson while we were out. They could not find the wasps but left us spray. We used the spray later that night and let the office know that there was still a problem. I feel that an exterminator should have been summoned ASAP. What if somebody got stung? We killed 5 wasps in all and were unable to locate the nest. The office was again made aware and stated that they would have to do something about it. Not sure what that was.
