What a pleasant surprise. The staff was very helpful and professional. It was a joy to get in the room and it was clean and beautiful. Watched a supreme sunset from out balcony.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the side that views the mountains.

From the wonderful mattresses to the super thick towels this place is a luxury hotel with reasonable prices. It's a great place to stay, super clean, wonderful 24 hour pool area. Quite, yet right in the heart of Pigeon Forge. This is the second time I have stayed, and was not disappointed. Both times have been pool side, so the next time I will try the River side. If you do not want the noise (kids were having a great time!) from the outdoor pool during the late evening, I would suggest you reserve on the opposite end of the hotel. The outdoor pool was a little cool since it was early May, but the indoor pool was wonderful! There are less expensive places out there, but if you don't mind paying extra for the anemities, it's a great place to stay!

Room Tip: Rooms on opposite end of hotel away from pool area would be quieter. Did not have a restaurant, only continential breakfast, which was average. Did not utilize the fitness area.

We have been coming to the area for about 10 years, and have been choosing Music Road hotel to stay in since I found it about 5 years ago.
Pros:
Great indoor/outdoor pool area...huge indoor pool and indoor hottub, plus an even bigger outdoor pool with a slide, diving board(my 12 year old son loves the dive, and almost no hotels in the area have this),and lazy river. The pool areas are always clean, stocked with towels, and as big as the hotel is,never so crowded that you feel like your personal space is being cramped. The pool area is big enough to handle the amount of guests at the hotel.
River view....For an extra $10 a night you can get a room with a balcony overlooking the little pigeon river.very relaxing.
Location....The hotel is only about 500 yards from the parkway, but seems a world away.If you have a river view room, you will not only have a great view, but have almost no traffic noise whatsoever. When you do hit the strip, you are only about a 30 second drive away. Its the best of both world's,close to the action, but just far enough away to have peace when you are at the hotel.
Clean...Hotel is always clean, from the lobby to the rooms,to the pool area, every thing is very clean.also i have never had a problem with any of the staff, they are always friendly and helpful.
Breakfast...While it is nothing out of the ordinary,it is always well stocked and has typical free breakfast items, and tastes good.

Cons....if the hotel is full it seems parking can get a little rough.I have had to park my car very far away(around the side of the hotel's convention center)and walk pretty far to get to the hotel. While this is not enough to ruin a vacation, and it only happens once in a while.

Overall,a great place to stay in the smoky's.Clean,Quiet,Pool area is great for kids.Nothing more I could ask for.

Tips...The music road inn across the street is also fantastic.I have stayed there before, but my son prefers the hotel, and that's why we stay here everytime we visit the area.

Room Tip: River view rooms have a better view

I was pleasantly surprised by the room and facilities at the Music Road Hotel. We stayed in a double queen river view, with a really nice view. Our child loved the indoor and outdoor pools, slide and little lazy river. The lobby was up to par with much more expensive hotels that we have stayed in, and the room was great. Very convenient to everything in the area too. Staff were extremely friendly...a nice touch! Highly recommended!

My husband and I just got back from a 4 night second stay at Music Road Hotel, and it was absolutely wonderful!... Finally found the hotel we will always stay at when we make our two trips a year vacation there. We stayed in the standard double queen riverview room, it was so clean(which is priority!) and roomy and very comfortable beds, and we enjoyed the riverview in the mornings and evenings making our vacation so relaxing. Walking down to pool and sitting late evenings also, was relaxing... The hotel staff were extremely friendly, when you walk in they were always smiling which put a smile on my face :) The 24 hour coffee available in the lobby also was a plus for me! The hotel wasn't crowded as we stayed from April 28 - May 2 and received good rates. We hated to leave but we will be back! We enjoy Pigeon Forge, the Old Mill, Cades Cove, Gatlinburg, Bass Pro, always cross through the mountains into Cherokee is worth taking in the view of the Mountains... In Cherokee Harrahs casino is there, we eat at Paula Deen's Kitchen there. Also Texas Roadhouse in Pigeon Forge, Old Mill restaurant and don't forget Apple Barn! This is our home away from home.. Thank you Music Road for another wonderful vacation!! :)

Room Tip: We actually stayed on third floor riverview room, loved it!
