We spent a week in Gatlinburg before Christmas, and heard about these tours at our resort. We signed up for the Wed. night dinner crusie and the Thurs. night Winterfest tour (which includes holiday lights, dinner and shopping). Everything was simply great! The dinner cruise was on a large private yacht on the Tennesse River in Knoxville. The ride there and back was interspersed with interesting commentary on local sights, and group singing of carols, a nice holiday touch. The yacht was well-appointed and very well maintained. The meal was freshly prepared on-board, so it was tasty and appetizing. The Thurs. night Winterfest tour was actually an interesting extension of the ride back and forth to the yacht! It began with dinner at the Partridge and Pear restaurant, which was VERY good! This was followed by an hour of shopping at The Christmas Place, a HUGE holiday store billed as "the second largest holiday store on the East coast!" Finally, there was a holiday lights tour of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which included every significant light display in both towns (over 6.5 million lights, so I'm told)! Again, the actual drive was interspersed with interesting and colorful commentary on local history and sights, and group carol singing. We enjoyed it so much that we forgot that we missed the season finale of X-Factor! :-) Rich and Jane are attentive and thoughtful throughout the tours, and genuinely care about their clients. Out of a plethora of pluses, maybe the most significant positive thing about their tours is the value. It is easy to spend a LOT of money on vacation in a tourist area like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Their tours are VERY reasonably priced, and you absoultely get the value for your money! The only negative thing I can mention is the timing. These evening tours all start at 5:00 PM, but they do not even begin to "round people up" until after 5:30. Other than that, they were perfect! Or rather, they were "Simply Great"!

We visited Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in hopes of seeing fall colors and we got much more. By sharing our time with two wonderful people Rich and Jane really helped to make our experience more memorable by showing us how to take better pictures showing us where to take pictures and providing historical information to give insight to Tennessee. Our trips were like a family trip together by combining great food and entertainment that truly enriched our stay.

When you go somewhere with Rich and Jane it's like hanging out with "that guy", you know the guy who has front row seats and eats at the best places..... Rich and Jane are warm and hospitable, you feel like you've known them your whole life!! Due to time constraints I was not able to take full advantage of Photo Fast tours but Rich couldn't be more helpful. If you're in Pidgeon Forge and you don't know Dolly get to know Rich and Jane...it's the next best thing!
I'll be back and I'll definitely look up Rich and Jane as soon as I get there!!
Thanks for everything Rich, you've got a friend in Pennsylvania!!
